    hey there! I had my surgery 12/5... I had very little gas pain... yes.... the coughing and soreness was tough but I think I stayed ahead of it with the pain meds... I am one month out and losing slowly... I have transitioned to solid foods but I am keeping them on the soft side...even though this is one of the hardest things I've ever done, I don't regret it... and I am looking forward to the gradual transformation. I wish you well on this journey!
