  1. I had surgery on 1-21-2013! First day I couldn't even finish one bottle of Water. But I remember people saying it gets easier everyday. And it's true everyday it gets easier . Ate 2 oz of Greek yogurt no problem and had some water too. And to top it off I am down 19 lbs since my 7 day preop diet. Everyday when I weight myself I say to my self "I will never weight this much again" Couldn't be happier! Even cooked my family 3 meals! Pork tenderloin, coffee crumb cake and turkey meet balls for lunch!!!
  2. Anyone else have horrible headaches postoperative? I had my sleeve on 1-21 and these headaches are killer. If it weren't for the headaches I probably need pain meds.

  23. My husband began talking about weigh loss surgery about 5 years ago. He would start the process then quit half way through. Nov of 2011 he started the process and got approved. I was very much against the surgery. I had been excising a eating right to show him we could lose weight if we exercised and had little will power. I accompanied him to his fist appointment with the surgeon. Funny thing happened, The surgeon reassured me this was the best decision and he scared my husband into not having it. Fast forward 4 months and he was now being require to take cholesterol meds on top of insulin so he decides once again he is going to have surgery.. And I start my 6 months of appointments with Kaiser. He had surgery August 30th and is down 70lbs. I was approved December 28th.. Since I am familiar with the process I have scheduled my appointments quickly and now have a surgery date of Jan 21st.. I am so excited. Dr said I should have no problem getting to 150..
