My doctor did not require a goal weight. But, he is making me do a liquid diet for 7 days before surgery. Bet of luck to you.

I was wondering how surgery went. I am from OFallon Mo and my surgery is on 1/23/13. I start my liquid diet this Wednesday and i am a bit nervous about the liquid diet. How did you do pre op? Any suggestions?

My Doctor put me on a 7day liquid diet before the surgery and that is it.

I wonder why some doctors prescribe longer pre op liquid diets, my doctor said 5-7 days and some people on this site asy 2 weeks or 2 days. Why the big difference?

I start my pre op diet next week. I am allowed to have 5-7 protein shakes a day. I am not looking forward to it, but I am lucky in the fact that my doctor only has me on it for 7 days. I guess it could be a lot worse. I will send some prayers up for you Keya34.

Well, I work with a bunch or ladies that are very clicky and judgmental. I am often left out or looked over because I am quiet and probably overweight. I am eager to find out how the ladies treat me once I am thinner. Deep down I hope they treat me the same, because it would be very sad to think they don't like me because I am heavy. Has anyone else noticed that people treat you different after weight loss?
