  1. I have a question when you refer to the Obamacare plans, what exactly are these? I understand the medicaid expasion and private insurers and the setting up of health care exchanges. The Obamacare plan is new terminology for to me.
  2. You are doing so Great!! I am getting about 600 calories in food per day.
  3. I haven't gone back yet, and I am glad I haven't. I have been having hydration issues and almost passed out Saturday. I am not scheduled to go back until the 2nd week of April. With you being in PT, you should give yourself the max amount of time. You don't want to go back too soon, then have to take off more time. When are you having surgery?
  4. Thanks, I feel better today almost at my goal for 64oz for the day
  5. I am a nurse and work in the ER/PACU so I decided to take 6 weeks off. Since you have a sit down job you may not need this much time off. The best way to do it is ask for 3-4 weeks and if you can go back sooner, it's a win win. Also ask your Dr what are the average length of time, most of his/her patients tend to be off work. This may be better to assist you with the time off you need. Congrats on your surgery!!
  6. My doctor gave me a goal of 64oz minimum.
  7. I called my surgeon and he said too really try to up my fluids or, come in the hospital for fluids. He said after weeks of poor intake this is what happens Mt first few weeks I had a hard time getting them in, but now it's seems to be worse. I have no appetite and when I do drink, I instantly feel nauseated. I feel a little better to day, just got to pick it up. How is your weight loss going?
  8. I am having a very hard time with fluids also. It's getting so bad I almost passed out Satuday. I have really been trying hard, it seems I am getting sicker rather than better.
  9. You want to take diet pills to lose 10 lbs? Do you plan on staying on them for life? How many people do you know that have taken diet pills, and kept the weight off for good? I think what it all boils down to is, lifestyle changes and choices. If diet pills were a successful option half us us wouldn't be member of this site. Hard work is never easy. You have the sleeve use that tool, you are proof positive that it works.
