  1. Well tonight i had 2 oz veg broth and 1 oz jello. I've drank 4 oz water today. 3 oz in 45 minutes to check for nausea. So far i haven't had any...knock on wood. Before i was served my dinner tray i was STARVING! ! I told my hubby and he was shocked lol. Can't keep a good tummy down i guess! Drinking some has taken the edge off though. Also the broth and jello provided a few well needed calories. How r u with your liquids?
  2. Hi 27th sleevers! Anybody else really exhausted today? How often are you walking and for how long? I go for a 15 minute walk every 3 hours or so.
  3. Hey y'all. Sleeved this morning at 0730. Doing well. Pain was bad upon first waking, but now it just feels like I have gas pains and bloat. Doc also repaired my hernia. I just finished a 15 minute walk around ward. That was nice to move my back around a little. Im aiming for a 10 minute walk every hour. Surgery lasted about 85 to 90 minutes. Hope Im over the worst of it!!
  4. Good luck everyone! Hugs!!!
  5. At the hospital mentally holding hands with my sleeve sisters (or brothers). Didn't sleep and want a nap.
  6. Im sure it will be fine. Its not like you went crazy! Can't wait to chat from the losers bench!!
  7. Yay Fluffy! You're the best!
  8. Congrats! Those clearances can be stressful!! Welcome!
  9. Wow, 11 days already! I feel like i just read a preop post from you! Thanx for the taking tip. I have a bunch left over from my preop diet and wasn't sure when or if I'd be able to use them. Tomorrow is surgery for me.
  10. You're enthusiasm is contagious!! Love it!!
  11. It is, but oh the things im going to do with that baby post op!!
  12. Best of luck. I too have a 3 year old little girl and feel your pain. Im right behind you.
  13. I loved the glucerna vanilla. To me it tasted like vanilla cake with icing. Its 15 g protein and 180 cals. I drank it for 12 days and never got tired of it. I also drank strawberry slimfast and chocolate glucerna
  14. I've already done 12 days liquid, now its the last 2 days of CLEAR liquids only, i.e. Water, jello, clear broth only. Liquid diet total 14 days.
  15. How did everyone do on their clear liquid 2 day preop diet? Any suggestions? I've gotten so used to my shakes I don't know what to do now. I just had some jello, but not sure how many times I can keep that up, YUCK! Especially because I can't have any flavors that have red coloring added.
  16. My calorie count is easy. 1 slimfast shake plus 4 glucerna shakes equals 900 cals and 70 g protein. That's been my diet for 12 days now :-(
  17. LOL. So you're on the 27th? If i did the math correctly we'll be sleeved on the same day. Keep the clock running. Im so calorically challenged I can barely do math!
