  1. I love you guys! I can always come here and get advice, learn things, know that Im not alone, be inspired, and get a laugh. Thank you to whomever started this incredible forum. I cannot imagine what this process would have been like without it! And a great big thank you to all of you who have been brave enough to go through this and thoughtful enough to share your experiences! I LOVE YOU GUYS!
  2. We can all diet, but that strict does eventually triggers rebound eating. Mindless eating large amounts of food. The sleeve will restrict the amount of food you can eat. So no more a huge plate of pasta, there's no room. If we do try to stuff food in we will get sick and not want to do that again. Its a quantity restriction tool. End of story! Now rock it, you deserve it.
  3. I lived on glucerna even though Im not a diabetic. I loooooved the vanilla one. Yummy. i drank one strawberry slimfast for breakfast and 4 glucernas a day. Totaled 70g protein and 900 calories.
  4. I was also instructed to crush mine
  5. Does broth, juice, etc count toward the 64 oz?
  6. I am soooo happy to hear from you. I was worried!! Im on clears til at least Thursday. i don't have staples though. I have glue. For future reference, don't give us a hammered garbage report then not get back for almost a day!!! Scared the crap outta me (not literally, still waiting on that...) ♥
  7. Hi all. I had my surgery the 27th. The doc also fixed a hernia while he was at it. I was wondering about anyone else's experience with the vsg /hernia combo. Im awfully sore and area around my belly button is quite bruised. Im also struggling with gas pain/ rumbles.
  8. Well I weighed myself yesterday when i got home from the hospital and I gained 4 lbs! Lol! Not surprised as i had a 3 1/2 hour drive home from hospital which always causes edema. So I don't know when I'll get back on. I like the week after surgery day idea. For me, that's next Wednesday. Wondering how my 27th sleevers are feeling today: gas, pain, walking ( how often/long), etc.
  9. Ooooh, i want that!! LOL
  10. Today i wasn't as hungry as yesterday, but i was taken by surprise on that one! Im still struggling with trapped gas and that's my major complaint today. I think Im not hungry cuz i bumped my water intake. However, i do know that 3 days have passed and i keep thinking how much better I'll be in another 3 days time. Fingers crossed. Im just happy yo be 3 days on the other side rather than 3 days preop!
  11. Me too. No bowel moves but sounds. Glad to hear from my fellow sleevers!
