    big question

I have a question but please do not spend time lecturing me. My question is why is it I can eat 2 ice cream sandwiches and yet only about 3-4 bites of chicken. It has been almost 10 months since surgery. Is it because those "junk food" items go down easier??

    December sleevers update

sleeved 12/12/12 I have gone from 235-172. I would like to reach 150 but have been at a stall for about three weeks. I know without a doubt it is because I don't eat enough. I feel so much better though!!!! Also have gone from 18-20 clothes and 2x-3x shirts to 14 jeans and they are a little big and Large shirts....

    does anyone know why?

very true....it has only been 4 months post op for me BUT I hate looking at the enormous flabby of skin on my belly from 3 children and weight gain!!
  10. I am almost 4 months out and have lost about 61 pounds. I want to lose another 20-25 pounds. I am at a stall and I know all about them. My question is. ...will this be all I lose? Am I finished losing? I also need help to not be so down about losing all those weight but still looking down at this fat stomach. Its like a huge amount that needs to be sucked and tucked but my doc says not for another year. Anyone else have these problems??
  11. I am working out daily but very slow at first. Have anyone of you ever heard of the weight just not coming off....I guess what Im saying is do people ever NOT reach goal or does it always happen??

    Do you regret?

I had such a tough time drinking. It was like it was taking forever to get drinks down. I did go to drinking tea and stuff soon. As for food I was so scared....I started mash potatoes soft foods...sounds crazy but even like a cheese puff cheeto dissolving in my mouth at first. It was like a baby learning texture again Just go slow. ..don't jump into steak lol

  15. Anytime I can help......we have to all support each other!!!!
  16. I just have to brag a little...most my friends don't want to hear me go on and on so I will tell you all....I am 3 months today feeling so much better and also have lost 52#!!!! It feels so good to buy a 14-16 instead of 18-20. Most people in my small town know I had surgery but they don't compliment me much. I went to a party the other day out of town with people who had seen me in December before surgery. They went on and on about how I look....it felt amazing. I felt like a movie star for a short time! Anyways that's my brag now good luck and continue on to each and everyone out there!!!

    When will nausea die down

I do not want to discourage you or be a downer by any means so I am telling you this so you will have hope.....I am 8 weeks post op. I spent first 7 weekd sick with nausea...I took my nausea med and my prilosec. I even ended up in hospital with dehydration. I literally thought I had died...made biggest mistake of my life....cried daily....EVERYONE kept saying it gets better...I had so many doubts. My doc finally put me on a steroid to reduce swelling and helps with nausea. I dont know if it was that or my body finally healed but I have had 9 straight days feeling awesome....nausea gone!!! Again please dont think you are destined for 7 weeks of hell as I called it but just know I promise....IT DOES GET BETTER!!!! Hang in there.....
  21. I had so many moments saying why...why did I do this. I got deep in depression and wanted to just sleep. I am 8 weeks this Wednesday and it has been 6 days of awesome days for me.....another words it took me 7 weeks. There is a light at end of tunnel...give it time. I now dont regret it at all....still a learning day by day process!! It helps me to get out and breathe fresh air....just opens up the mind!!! GOOD LUCK
