Too funny. Congrats and welcome. My surgery is set for 5/28/13. I start my 2 week liquid fiet ob 5/14/13. I have already begun apologizing to my family

My surgery is scheduled for May 28th. i have always been bigger than most, my highest weight was 280, I would like to get down to 170-165. My mother is supportive, but my daughters father, and older sister feel I am taking the easy way out. I have not been in the 100's since grade school. So Im looking forward to this new change. I am so grateful to have found a forum that is supportive.

Just got approved, and set my date. I will be sleeved on 5/28. I have to transition some projects at work, which is why I picked the later date. So anxious, and nervous.

I can relate. I don't have a surgery date yet, but I am having my favorites one last time. It may nit be the wisest choice, but I think of it as saying goodbye to my philly cheese steaks

I haven't been sleeved yet, but cannot wait.

Hello! I have decided to look into VGS as wel. I had my consultation on 12/14. My doctor is really good. I do have some concerns about the procedure. I have been all over youtube looking for answers. I didnt finalize my decision until talking to my cousin. She had the procedure last year. I am waiting to wrap up a project at work, and loking forward to a surgery date in October. My BMI is 45. I worked for the Blues in Philadelphia, and they are pretty good at approving the procedure if you meet the stated rquirements. I wish you all the best, and will follow your journey on here. I could use the inspiration.
