  1. Had my surgery wednesday morning.. I came out of surgery feeling great. At night, starting feeling super nauseous, they gave me gravol and zofran. I felt so much better. Didn't need any pain meds at all. I got home this morning, a little sore but I feel just fine. My scars don't look bad and I'm already down 6 lbs since surgery. I'm not hungry at all but sipping on water with crystal light all day long.. For all of you getting surgery soon, be prepared for a rough 24 hours right after surgery but then it;s all smooth sailing from there!! Good luck!

  6. Im on day 13.. It does get easier!! Bad news is the more u cheat the hungrier you are and the harder it gets... Tough it out 2-3 days and you will see it becomes a lot easier! Best of luck to you!
  7. Are you allowed raw veggies? I find chewing on them all day helps out a lot.. Were only a week away! You can do it!
  8. congrats!! I'm on day 6 now and my surgery is 1/16.. I find drinking lots of water helps! The first few days were tough but now it's gotten a lot easier. don't give up it'll be worth it in the end!!
  9. I think for me.. knowing i HAVE to do it is what helps.. Ive done liquid diets before but always ended up cheating.. this time, I know I have to do it. liquid diets are challenging and I feel like I'm craving EVERYTHING but it goes by fast and the end result is so worth it!
  10. Im on day 4.. and it gets a lot easier.. day 1 was torture.. drink lots of water, try crystal light with water its helping me a lot.. and im pretty much chewing on raw veggies all day long..
  11. Hey guys.. Im looking to book a trip to vegas and am having surgery on jan. 16.. How long after do you all think I should be ok to go and still be able to enjoy.. I was thinking March? Or too soon?...
  12. I've been doing 4 shakes a day plus any raw veggies i find.. I guess the beginning is the hardest.. it should get easier and my stomach shrinks! Good luck on Saturday!!
  13. I'm on the 16th.. one day before. started my liquid diet yesterday.. im starving!
  14. My pre-op starts Jan. 2nd as well. Surgery is the 16th. I'll be taking Chocolate optifast shakes.. heard theyre pretty good. I tasted one and I think I'll be fine, but the vanilla one is gross!
  15. I'm scheduled for January 16th as well! My preop is tomorrow morning! I'm excited but also very nervous!! How long were you told to take off of work following the surgery? I have to let my boss know this week and still unsure of how long I should take off to recover...
