  1. Not sure if you can add chlorophyll to your Water (don't see why not) but that always helped me. Also makes b.o go away and just deodorizes from the inside out.
  2. Mine just smells like nail polish remover when I'm in ketosis.
  3. How many calories do you pregnant ladies eat in a day? I seem to be getting flack about only eating 1400 cals a day (I'm pre op) people day that's way to low but I don't starve myself I eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full. I'm 36 weeks.
  4. And Dana when I'm not pregnant I only eat 1200 cals a day.
  5. I just hope it works for me.
  6. I am not dieting, I eat well and I track every single thing I eat (have done so for a year and a half). My dr says 1400 cals a day is fine (thanks for your opinion however you're not my dr). I am currently 288lbs and 5'7" I haven't been diagnosed with gerd but I have to take nexium everyday and my dr has Mentioned it before. I don't really eat many carbs (unless from fruit). I eat mostly veggies and dairy (can't really tolerate meat of any sort while pregnant). I drink Protein shakes everyday (low cal low carb low sugar). I know alot about food and nutrition. I don't drink full sugar drinks, there is never juice in my house. Water, skin milk and almond milk (unsweetened) only. I have been checked for thyroid and there never seems to be an issue. I will get the surgery regardless, but I've come to find that most people didn't eat very well before surgery and they had to completely change the types of food they eat. The mushy stage post op seems alot like what I already eat everyday.
  7. Not to mention i eat organic whenever possible, but low fat or sugar free stuff when possible. I don't eat bread often (maybe twice a month if that). I take a bunch of different Vitamins since I was 13 just for general maitenience of my health every single day (I feel incomplete without them). Just really hoping it will make a difference despite my eating habits.
  8. ok so I have ate pretty healthy my whole life. Yes i eat awful occasionally but even on those days I probably only eat 3,000 cals at the very most. I have been eating around 1,600 cals a day for over a year with no weightloss. Lately been trying for less than 1,400 (I am 36 weeks pregnant so don't wanna go too low). I'm just scared it won't work for me as I really don't eat junk all that much and don't eat tons of calories to begin with. Has anyone else ate relatively heathy their whole life with occasional bad weeks or months and been able to be successful?
  9. It's most likely from ketosis, when I used to do Atkins (and had an rating disorder) mine would do that. My breath would also smell like acetone.
  10. You have lost 60lbs in 4 months. That's awesome! Could you have done that without the sleeve? I say just keep doing what you are doing and you will see a loss eventually.

Have any of you noticed a difference in weather or not you snore? If you ever did that is. My fiancé has been snoring more than usual and it is driving me insane. I have enough insomnia from being pregnant but I want to smother him! Hoping weight is a factor.
  12. Thanks for this post! My son will be 23 months when I hope to get my sleeve and my daughter will be 3 months. My fiancé will be taking a week or so off of work to help out but hopefully won't need to take any more.
  13. I'm already addicted to online shopping once I get smaller I best be careful! I LOVE clothes.
  14. For those sleeved in Mexico how was your after care in Canada? I'm in Ontario and ohip covers dieticians if referred I believe but haven't heard much about other after care.
  15. Anyone feel free to add me as well. Amitch17
  16. Oh I'm in Canada I don't think we get those ones here. The ones I've seen have like 28g of carbs and lots of cals and sugars.
  17. Mine is: amitch17 Pregnant right now so not getting a whole lot of exercise but will be after my c section.
  18. The calories carbs and sugar are all really high. Could you just get a shaker cup and mix the protein with skin milk or unsweetened almond milk? That's what I do and it tastes really good. I actually enjoy drinking my protein everyday.
  19. Peppermint oil or peppermint extract? Try mixing with unsweetened almond milk I find it makes any Protein better.
  20. I don't find the few types I've had to smell at all. When I wasn't pregnant I drank isofemme vanilla and chocolate. But I bought the exact brand (super store) strawberry whey and it is really good! It's cheap has 26g of Protein per serving 1 gram of sugar and really low carb. Tastes like an insane Breakfast to me. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk.
  21. How many cals do you eat on the liquid diet roughly?
  22. I may just get tattoos to cover mine.
  23. Do I'm having my daughter on feb 26th and my son is 2 in July. I will be getting sleeved the beginning of June. Anyone else had small children after getting sleeved? How much help should I expect (fiancé works 12 hour shifts nights and days). Should he take time off to help with lifting them into bed and what not? If so how long would you think?
