1. Here is mine I'm 10 months post op, my biggest at a size 24 and then at my smallest I have ever been, I wear a size 9 and the first time I've ever worn a dress :-)
2. My surgeon said that it sometimes takes about 6 months to be regular again, but I'm well over 6 months now lol
3. I'm a little over 8 months post op, I'm currently on the pill, but my cycles are still so irregular, its soo annoying! I used to be regular on time every month. Is anyone else going through something similar?
4. Thanks u guys, I've been reading about it and I read the part about caffeine, I'm gna have to try bc I love coffee so much, it's going to be hard.. and it almost makes sexy time a bit awkward and uncomfortable! :-(
5. I'm 8 months post op, and for the last 3 weeks my boobs hurt soo much.. I went to the doctor today and she told me I have fibrocystic breast, bc of all the weight I lost, and my boobs went down a lot in size.. has anyone else gone through this so far? If so, is there anything you did for the pain?
6. I was about the same unfortunately it didn't matter that I was getting all my protein, biotin and fish oil capsules in! LOL I still lost A LOT of hair, but it will grow back.. I'm 8 months out and I'm happy to see regrowth, I have a bunch of baby hairs all over my head lol
7. I started losing my hair about a month post op, it felt like I was losing so much I even clogged my shower drain from all my hair falling off in the shower, it does get better though, I noticed it kind of slow down at 5 months out, I'm now 8 months post op and I'm finally getting regrowth, I can see little baby hairs all over my head lol
8. LOL! I'm sorry I dont mean to laugh at u, I just remember me being the same way. When I came home the first couple of days I saw soo many food commercials and I couldnt have any! It does get better bc u discover that u actually don't need any of it :-)
9. Try some warm tea, I remember water was hard for me to keep down without having that annoying pain, but tea seemed to help :-)

When are we given the clear for alcoholic drinks? I'm 6 months out and I have never thought to even ask my doctor this question LOL
11. Thanks everyone! Here's a side view, forgot to upload it.
12. I'm 18 weeks tomorrow, I took my before picture at 235 lbs, one week before my surgery, today's picture I'm at 178 lbs :-) when I had surgery I wore a size 18 and today I wear a size 13, I've never been this small in my life! Lol
13. I was prescribed heart burn meds, and it did help, but yes warm liquids helped a lot too.
14. During ur preop diet theres a period in which u stop taking ALL medications cold turkey, it also helped me not build a tolerance to the better pain meds when I was in the hospital. My doctor cleared me for nsaids after 3 months, but honestly like everyone else has said I'm never in pain anymore, every so often when I do get a headache I just take Tylenol and it actually does help right away, when before I used to laugh at Tylenol bc it didn't do crap for me whatsoever lol
15. It's crazy how much hair I lose everyday, I don't have bald spots yet but it's very thinning and fine, I had to unclog my drain in the tub and now I use a hair stopper for it lol.. I just can't wait for it to grow back =\
16. When did everyones hair loss begin? And when did it start to grow back? Mine started 2 months ago and still hasn't stopped, I'm 4 months post op now.
17. At first I didn't want my coworkers to know because the majority of them r overweight, and I've noticed the ones that r overweight did not support me and just judged me more than others. But I did tell them eventually and it seems as though I've inspired some to be healthy, and one of them that actually joined a gym lol
18. I'm 3 months post op and I started losing hair at 1 month post op, I don't have any bald spots or anything like that and my hair has always been thin and I've always been someone who loses alot of hair, but I have noticed my hair becoming more thinner on the top and on the sides too :-( I had to unclog my bath tub from all my hair going down the drain every time I shower and when I brush it and blow dry it, it's a ridiculous amount, I know it's just hair but it still makes me sad and makes me cringe after seeing all the hair I lose on a daily basis =\
19. I'm 9 weeks out and I've noticed my hair coming out more and more! It's really depressing, my hair is already thin as it is so its kind of hard to hide it, I've already cut it short to give it the illusion of being thick, but I've also noticed that where my hair is thinning out there are little pimple things there too. Ive also been really stressed out lately over other personal issues going on in my life so I wonder if that has something to do with it? My hair gets extremely oily when I don't wash it everyday too, sometimes I have to wash it twice a day! Bc it gets very oily 12 hours later, so I know that probably doesn't help either =\ does anyone have any suggestions? I take all my vitamins and protein for the day, I even take biotin that I've started taking way before I had the surgery.
20. What was everyone eating at 9 weeks out? I'm kinda nervous to try something new lol I've noticed that meat is getting a little easier to keep down, fyi I hate seafood! Lol... Any suggestions, recipes would be greatly appreciated :-)
21. When I'm at work its easier for me to resist and just say no, I think it's bc I don't want my co workers to see me cave in LOL there's always bad food at work but I drink my protein shake instead. On my days off its really hard, bc I do get cravings A LOT! but since I live alone I don't have any junk food in the house, I do get depressed and I used to be an emotional eater, so I have to keep busy so I don't spiral down that road again.
22. I don't know if its bad that I take this, but I've had constipation hell ever since I was sleeved, I'm 7 weeks out. I have to take a laxative, not milk of magnesia bc its disgusting lol but it's a generic tablet, Bisacodyl. The maximum dose is 3 tablets but all I need is 1 tablet now. Ive started taking it once a week now to help me go bc if I didn't I would never go and if I did try without it, it hurt SOO BADLY! So far its been working and I feel fine.
23. I'm 7 weeks out and was curious to know, will we ever be able to have caffeine? Like would a few cups of coffee a week hurt a lot?
24. Thanks everybody for all your kind words, I know I'm kind of late to respond sorry! I'm trying to put all the sadness behind me and just move forward. On a more positive note, the scale said I'm in the 100's today and I have never seen it say 100 something before ever! I have now lost 32lbs since surgery and I'm 6 weeks out :-)
