  1. My surgery was on Nov. 12. My highest was 334. On the day of surgery I was 311. Today I weighed 258lbs. 53 lbs since the surgery and a total of 76lbs. I may not have lost as much as some people but I am totally happy!!!
  2. Well I did it. I went to the Salvation Army and bout some smaller sizes. Yay me!!
  3. I think I will go the Salvation Army route...I'm nowhere near done losing all of the weight and I don't want to waste money.
  4. I had to hold up a pair of slacks up with a safety pin a couple of weeks ago...feels good but you can only do that for so long...
  5. I have no idea what size I am in now. I don't really want to buy clothes yet but I am starting to look ridiculous in my clothes now. What to do, what to do....
  6. Christmas day was challengingand today is my son's birthday and I can't have cake! I know it will all be worth it though.

  8. I still take 30 minutes to eat..How much is everyone eating? I'm 6 weeks out and I can eat 3oz of protein but only 1-2 oz of veggies or salad..I still have my shake for breakfast.
  9. I don't think then shots of protein are necessary because you seem to be getting enough with your meals. I don't know if that would cause the stall though.
  10. I know what you mean...It was really hard, I was able to do it(95% of the time) This was the best decision I've ever made.
  11. Highest weight- 334 Date of surgery -311(Nov 12) As of last monday- 291 20lbs since surgery ..43lbs all together
  12. I'm 3 weeks out and starting the gym again tomorrow. I am blessed to have a free trainer through my job. I honestly can't wait.!!

  15. I just started a pureed diet and I can't eat more than 3oz. At that point I have a harder time with the food going down so I know I'm full.
  16. I had no pain after I left the hospital. I can't lift more than 25lbs for 5 weeks.
  17. Hi..I'm 40 years old and I'm married to my best friend. I have 3 children, an 18 year old son and 2 daughters, 16 yrs and 12 yrs. I had my surgery on November 12th. My family is plagued with diabetes and Alzheimer's and know that weight are a factor in both these diseases. I made the decision to help me get healthy and stay healthy. I am so happy with my sleeve and so excited about the future.
