  1. Today I made the 60 lbs mark!!!!!!
  2. I just get an appitizer or eat off my husband's plate:)
  3. I am down 50 per my surgeons scale. I am happy. I have been losing about 2 pounds a week. I think how great the loss is. And how quick it has happened. But then j know I still have a long way to go. I try to take it one day at a time and set small goals. Looking at the entire scope of things is kinda depressing.
  4. The first month is hard, but manageable. I never regretted it, but only questioned why I had to go to this extreme to lose weight. I am 3 months out now and down 50 pounds. I have never felt better and know I could have never done it on my own. Everyone second guesses their decision at some point in the process, and there is risk involved, but for me the risk of surgery was worth it. Stay strong.
  5. Mine is high. All the time.....I mean alllllll the time!!!!!!
  6. Vitamin water.....it moves me......lol
  7. My surgery was 9/26/12 and I am down 46 pounds!!!!!! Love the sleeve!!!!!
  8. I had surgery 12 weeks ago and I do not regret it. You do morn the loss of food for a few weeks, but I got over that real quick as I healed and could eat more of a variety of things and be full quick. I have lost 46 pounds and feel energized.
  9. Thanks everyone. I am in a better mood today. I woke up to a one pound loss. Minky..the inches are the most important. Seeing a difference in your clothes is life changing. I bought a new shirt today. First time since surgery. If anyone is down about the pounds go try on smaller sizes. Even if you don't buy anything ..... it will give you the motivation you news to keep up the fight!!!
  10. I agree Melross. and they assume if you don't constantly have a high weight loss that you must be doing something wrong. I may not be perfect at this, but I am a long way from where I used to be, and I will continue to work at it. Congrats on your weight loss so far!
  11. lol, that's funny Jenipher. Soul, my mom does the same to me. Always wants to talk about calories, exercise, Vitamins...etc. I don't know. I guess I am just in a mood. Stalls can really bring you down.
  12. lol... I agree with you Jenipher!!!

  14. I know we did the surgery for ourselves, but that does cause stress. I really wish it would come off quicker. I really need to stop comparing myself to others!!!
  15. I am 11 weeks out. Down 44 pounds. I am a little bummed its not more at this point. There is so much pressure when everyone is watching you. The last thing you want to do is fail. I hate the dreaded question "so how far down are you now?" Does anyone else feel this way?
