are you both on liquid diets even though you're not approved yet??? that would kill me if I had done this liquid thing and not been approved... all this work... I am down 14 lbs this morning... I haven't lost 14 lbs. in a long long time... hope it all works out for you both... here's to a good healing process for all of us

I am scheduled for April 8th for my vertical sleeve... in one breath I want to say yahoo... and the other oh no... lol wish me luck...

you are doing great... doesn't sound like you have any regrets... I have not had my sleeve yet... so I love to hear success stories...

as a 50+ person considering sleeve, what should I know and what do you wish you had known before your procedure?

I am 55 and just starting the process now.... I was torn between sleeve and bypass... but I am leaning towards the sleeve .. no rerouting of bowels and it seems, more normal to me... makes more sense at my age.... someone said in another online site that it is irreversible and I should go GP ... but that does not sway me... I still think at 251 lbs. and my age... this is a better choice. I am soooo glad to see this group exists.... I see alot of younger peeps getting the procedure but I often wonder on the recovery rate and success for people my age... thank you for posting your stories and I hope to gain friends for this journey here... ann
