  2. Sweet heart, your doing this surgery for you, not for a man. Remember that. A man who truly loves you will love you for you, not for your size. Do NOT let this guy discourage you from doing something you wanted to do. You made this decision without him in your life. If he wants to be a part of it now, he needs to realize your not the same girl you were and you have goals.
  3. Wow...my dietitian just tells me to watch protein intake, not calories or anything else. Its crazy how different all our diets are.
  4. Anyone have any creative recipes? I can only have meats and veggies, no carbs right now, and its becoming hard to come up with new stuff to cook.
  5. I have all the celebrate vitamins, my favorite are the calcium soft chew- so good lol. However the calcium cherry tart literally makes me want to vomit. I also have the multi complete in berry and iron plus in grape and like them both. I just have to find a different Calcium 500 to take.
  6. Maybe he is just scared of you having surgery done? That makes me really sad to hear because this should be a joyous thing. I couldn't have done this without the support of my husband.
  7. Some improved some didn't. But for the ones who didn't its their loss not mine. Don't let others bring you down
  8. Yay!!! I know when I hit 399 I was so excited! I started at 433.3 and this morning I was 359.4 Glad to be going on this journey with all of you!
  9. I had the sleeve Oct 2 and I am down 34 pounds since surgery, 72 since I started. I am at stage 3 which is solid foods but still limited. My dr won't let me eat carbs till 6 months post op. Yesterday I ate a little bit of pork roast and some green beans. If I get a headache I find eating a fruit cup helps. I don't really miss foods because I don't think about how it's only 2 ounces of meat, I just eat until I'm full. Which before surgery I never seemed as full as I get now that I have had the surgery. I have went from a size 34 pants to a size 32 and a size 30/32 shirt to a 22/24 so Yay for that
  10. Vinton, Louisiana. Had my surgery in Lafayette
  11. Reading all your stories has inspired me to share mine. I was molested at the age of 13 by my next door neighbor, though at this time I was not overweight, I was not skinny either, I was chunky. Both of my parents were morbidly obese and I think you learn your eating habits from the people you grow up around. But after I was molested I lost myself for a long time. I turned to food for comfort when I had no one else to turn too. It wasn't until I got the help that I needed that for the molestation that I realized how far gone I was. At age 23 I weighed 433.3 pounds. That was just 4 months ago. I decided enough was enough and I needed to change. My aunt has the sleeve and lost 90 pounds the first year. I have a husband and want to have kids one day so I made the decision to save my own life. I had the sleeve Oct 2 and weighed in at 359.4 yesterday it is far from my goal but I am closer then when I started. And I'm only going down from here!!
  12. Add me lelesmith07 on Instagram and Aleshia cox on Facebook, same profile picture as this one
  13. For the puréed diet you can eat chicken, fish, shrimp etc. basically all the moist meats, no pork or beef. And I am 2 months out and idk what you consider "normal" but I don't miss the foods I am not allowed to eat yet.
  14. Hello Everyone! My name is Aleshia, I am 23 year old and married to the best man in the world (I know everyone says that ????)
