  1. I had high blood pressure in the hospital only when in pain. Maximize your pain relief and you will heal faster. If you get too painful it takes a lot more meds to bring it back under control. So switch from lortab to Tylenol but don't try to do without. It is not a toughness contest. I was sleeved 12/17 and had to spend 2 nights for pain management and hydration. I'm still having a tough time at home with pain. I have to take the lortab still but I got all my Protein in today. So that was a small victory. I had a hiatal hernia repair too and I think that hurts the most. The hiccups are killer. The good news is that I feel better everyday
  2. I was sleeved 12/17 and get to go home today. Too much nausea yesterday to take in enough fluids. Doing so much better today. Can't wait to get home!
  3. I have surgery at 9 am. I have found the nectar chocolate truffle protein shakes to be the best. I hope I still like it after tomorrow.
  4. I just finished day 2 of preop diet. I did have a wicked headache but I think that was just caffeine withdrawal. I have not been hungry though with all that protein!
