  5. If you're saying I can have it later.. then I am good with that. I can wait. I would hate for something so silly as a piece of popcorn to send me the e.r. I would rather go down for a juicy 5 guys burger instead!!! J/k no I wont be trying that either!! Thanks for the input
  6. Only 17 days out..just wanna know what can happen. It's truly my weakness...
  7. All of the above. Sit up while sipping. Ask for a nausea patch when you go in for preop it will help with the nausea just in case. Just tell them you are prone to motion sickness....and yes walk walk walk as soon as possible. Try to lay off the morphine if you are given any, it makes the nausea worse..good luck
  8. Oooh add some red enchilada sauce and cheese. Really deelish!!!!

  10. Yes a cutter and a pill crusher.. swallowing that pill is dangerous. Might get lodged!!!
  11. The 11th as well. Went home in 2 days due to not enough liquids but my sis had the procedure done 30 min after me by the same surgeon and she went home next day. Hang in there the nausea gets better. I have a patch behind my ear to help with it. Just sip sitting up every commercial break. Good luck everyone!!
  12. Yes. They kept me an extra day.. Sip sitting up and move around like walking. It helps. . They won't discharge you until you've taken in enough liquids. The IV is keeping you hydrated. You don't wanna have to come because of dehydration
  13. I was the same way. Ask for a nausea patch and lay off the morphine. . It makes it a lil better... sip sitting up and it will be easier to get ur liquids in!!!
  14. I was told start after your first post op appointment. Which is in 10 days.. so not sure everyone is different
