OK hold on, i know that you may find the topic title weird/odd, but i promise you am not a *****/freak. but it is true, i kissed myself today, and i find this to be a NSV that is worth sharing. First, before i go into the subject, let me tell you a little about myself. I HATE MYSELF! I HATE MYSELF! I HATE MYSELF! I HAVE ALWAYS HATED MYSELF! DID I SAY, I HATE MYSELF? IN CASE I FORGOT, I HATE MYSELF. This has all changed today as i was washing the dishes. This past valentine, my husband has gave me a mirror as a gift, this mirror is heart shaped and my husband decided to glue it on the wall that i face when i am at the sink, when he glued it, he said and i quote: " this is for you to always remember how beautiful you have became and have always been". well, it was a sweet thing from him to gift and say BUT i have always ignored mirrors, because i have always seen a reflection of someone who i never thought i was, i acted different than what i see in the mirror, i act as if i am small but the mirror has always showed a big reflection which i hated! Well to make this long story short. Today, as i was washing the dishes, i take take a look at the mirror and look back down BUT i looked back at myself right away because what i saw has pleased me!! I saw a beautiful 20 year old woman who is the exact reflection of my soul, i thought i looked beautiful, and i questioned myself: is this really me? I teared up and all of the sudden without paying attention to what i am doing, I kissed the mirror and stood up and smiled (but whats wrong with complimenting myself) UGH, i confess it felt weird but for the first time i love myself. This made my day, and i sure could not leave it at that. I walked swiftly to my husband in the living room and told him that he is a very lucky man to have me. HAHAHAHA he was weak. BUT i was very happy, and in a very good mood all of the sudden. I am sure this has happened to someone else, kissing the mirror/liking what you see... it happens right? I find it okay to compliment myself, because what i went through was not easy, what i gave away to be at this state of body was not easy, it is okay to like what i see even for a moment right? Sorry for this long post, i thought i had to share, please give yourself credit, you deserve it.

Such a great accomplishment so far, and yes it is very common, you should keep measurements because when you dont drop lbs that means your body is taking some time to tighten up, and you are probably losing inches!

November 2012 sleevers, please check in.
I looked in the forums for a reacent thread for november sleevers but i didn't find one, and since i need to see where i am now compared to everyone, i decided to start this thread in hopes of getting some replies. Surgery weight 230 11/09/12 Today 169.8 Total loss: 60.2 pounds. I was doing very good up until february 12th, and until today i have only lost 4 pounds. This month was very slow and hard. I was expecting to be 150 pounds by 6 months out. But that is just impossible now. Enough talking about me. I really want to know how everyone is doing!!! Would love to see pictures attached.

November sleevers... I am struggling!
HI! I am only here for support. I am not saying that what you are doing is right but i want to confess too. and maybe my confessions can make you feel a little better. I did not start exercising also, i am overseas and gyms here are very different and i don't feel comfortable working out here. I do walk a lot and i work at a place that i have to walk a lot and stand up a lot and do a lot of heavy lifting (my husband owns the business). As for eating, well… i allow myself to have a snack everyday, some days its a mini chocolate bar and other days its mini chips bag and sometimes i have both. My doctor does not mind this because i stay under 800 calories a day and ( i am one of these weird port surgery patient that throws up almost everything that can sit in the stomach) my stomach is very sensitive which doesn't allow me to eat my Proteins, i do eat a lot of proteins but most end up back in the toilet. I drink a lot of Water but i never get in the desired amount per day. I don't take any Vitamin supplements because it also doesn't sit in my stomach (i still don't know what is wrong with me but no leak for sure) I suck on ice and i keep myself well dehydrated. Snacks are slider foods and i tolerate them well and this is why i have them. I do also eat fried foods at least once a week (well i try to eat and keep down fried foods) by fried foods i mean, kfc chicken or a small fried chicken patty. Again am not saying do what am doing, am a different case and it seems to keep me going and keep me strong. I am losing 2-3 pounds a week still even though my whole food regime is wrong! Surgery day: NOv 7th 2012 SUrgery weight: 130 lbs LAST weigh day: Jan, 20th 2013 Last weight: 180 lbs 50 pounds and counting So stand up and keep going, you know what you are doing wrong and you know how to correct it and you know what ur body likes/wants. don't stop here, it is the beginning!

Almost there!
- Almost there!
I went through ups and downs but this ride was definitely worth it! I am glad to say that as of yesterday i am 50 pounds lighter! SURGERY DATE: Nov, 7th 2012 SURGERY DAY: 230 pounds HIGHT: 5'6" CURRENT WEIGHT: 180 pounds NO pre op diet... I have 35 more pounds to goal... you think i can make it before my 21st birthday in july? I sure hope so, ill have more than one reason to celebrate! This is my happy dance- Frustration is my middle name :( urgent, i need some advise!
Oh am so sorry you had to go through the ER also, it is frustrating... am glad that you are better now. I am feeling much better too! and yes i found a place that they sell something very similar to G2 gatorade but it has high calories so am still debating wether or not to try it. maybe i will since my calorie intake is low! - Almost there!
