  1. I was sleeved on 3/27 & it's takes getting used to the new way of life. I had nausea yesterday but it did not last too long. I am on pureed foods and I am not complaining, but the pain associated with eating leaves a lot to be desired. I will be glad when the healing is over. I have no desire to get on the scale is this normal? Also I am afraid of narcotics so I have been laying low on pain meds.
  2. Excuse me, darn errors. Post op, no liquid diet.
  3. Also pre op I can have pureed food when I go home, no liquid diet.
  4. Wow it really is something how Dr s are so different. I didn't have a pre op.diet at all. I was told not to easy anything after midnight. I am scheduled to have my surgery on Wednesday March 27th. I can also drink up to for hours before surgery. I am praying for all of us sleevers. May Good be with us all.
  5. Hey Jennifer, to give a ray of hope, you gained the ten pounds because your body insulated itself because of the traumas of the surgery, your body will start to expel the fluid as your body starts to heal. Then you're metabolism will start to take over, especially if you're sticking to your diet . Welcome to the losers bench. I have my surgery on March 27th, this is a big help to us waiting to get sleeved. God speed in your recovery.
  6. I'm scheduled to have my surgery on March 27th. I'm a little nervous but also excited. I hear people talk about a pre op diet but noone has told me anything. I am scheduled to meet with the Dr on the 19th, maybe that is when I well find out everything. Hopefully it won't be too hard.
