  1. I will be thinking about you in the morning. The cleanse killed me along with the 12 antibiotic pills I had to take. By the morning of surgery I was just ready to get some sleep lol. It will soon be a step to your new life.
  2. You will be fine. You will be asleep before you know it. You wake up and wonder if you have even had the surgery at first.

  4. I am a week out from surgery (well close) I was sleeved December 4. Today has been a horrible day as I have been an emotional wreck and honestly was wondering if I made the right decision. I have been very tearful and the full liquid stage is depressing. Does this pass when you can go on to purees and honestly in my mind I just don't want it to always be like this. Any advice would help.

  6. I have had the burps today too and it freaked me out too. I do know it feels pretty amazing to be in my own bed tonight.

  8. Mine went good. A little sore but the end results will be worth it. I am actually just now in the car on my way home from the hospital.
  9. I get to head home tomorrow. I have a little bit of gas and my stomach is sore but that too shall pass excited to go home in the morning.
  10. Good morning everyone. Today I get ice chips. I have no hunger just my mouth I super dry. The hardest part is over yay.
  11. Surgery is done. Everything went well. No too much pain just a lot of nausea and I have the dry heaves .
  12. Today is my day too. I am getting ready to head tote hospital in about 10 minutes. My stomach is feeling yucky due to the prep and antibiotics my doc puts you on the day before surgery.

  14. The day is getting closer and closer . Tomorrow is preop day and Tuesday morning is surgery
  15. I have my surgery Tuesday morning. I am so excited.
  16. Preop is all done. Start on clear liquids Monday and surgery is Tuesday morning. Only 3 days away
  17. So happy for you. I do my last visit to my surgeon in the morning and all my preop. I will be buying last minute stuff this weekend. I am so super excited. You definitely will be in my prayers.
  18. I am in TN. My doctor said 2 weeks minimum however, I work for the government and my boss is a Chaplain in the Army so I am off the whole month of December. You definitely shouldn't have to deal with the negativity. I think your boss is just jealous because you are taking the steps that you need to to get healthy.
  19. I have Surgery tuesday also. I am also stocking up. A good thing I got for the clear liquids is the chicken broth little tubs that you mix with water it is actually very tasty.
  20. So Sorry that you are dealing with so much negativity. Tomorrow is my last day of work until January 7th. I have surgery the same day as you . I am sooo excited to get started on this journey. Take care of you and know that you have all of our support here and don't worry about what those negative nellie's have to say.
  21. I can't wait to not weigh more than my husband, tone able to shop in the regular section, to not get out of breath walking up and down the stairs in our house and to feel comfortable to exercise again. Only one week left. I am excited to start my new life.
  22. I am also a December 4th sleever. I have to say I am getting super excited. I have preop this Friday and my doc doesn't require a preop diet so I got to eat a little bit of thanksgiving dinner.
  23. My date is December 4. I am soooo excited.
