  1. I went on a date during the stages where I could only eat soft food..nothing solid. I went on about 3 dates and the chick said you eating like u just had weight loss surgery O_o..... I couldnt lie, I told her!! She was very understanding.
  2. I take 50 grams (2 25 gram scoops) every morning along with 3 amino acid tablets, I have not taken creatine, have you? When I played college football my Strength coach had all the little guys take creatine to gain weight so I always shyed away from that. I going to have to start doing more cardio so I can become more lean, I just HATE cardio but I know in order to reach my goal of 275 I have to get busy!!!
  3. I am going to be honest, I was addicted to food, I ate when I was happy, sad, mad, you name it. I was amazed at the amount of food I use to eat. People always told me that after the surgery that I would be full after only a couple of bites of food, I was like yeah right. People around will you say I know you're going to eat more that, I know you cant be full. I am year out of surgery and last night I ordered a grilled chicken salad and I was only able to eat half of it. The moment that did it for me is when I saw a friend that I have not seen since college and he did not know who I was because the weight loss. The really felt good and let me know that it was all worth it!!!
  4. Since having my surgery last year on Nov 9th I have noticed several changes in my body but just recently I have noticed a MAJOR change. Now I know it's Sunday so I am going to try my best to say this as tastefully as I can. But it seems as I continue to lose more weight another part of my body is growing. I guess I can add that to the pros of having weight loss surgery..atleast from a man's point of view!!!!
  5. Awww man that has been a gift and a curse... I love the weight loss but buying new clothes sucks...its getting cold now and now I have to buy some jackets and sweaters
  6. Will do, I thought about doing that
  7. Before I had this surgery I was worried about loose skin and not having any muscle tone after the surgery. Well I am proud to say that I am a year out of surgery and I don’t have any loose skin. I have always lifted weights and wanted continue after I had my surgery. I am going to be honest when I got back in the gym after surgery I was extremely weak, in college I could bench about 475 lbs., when I got back in the gym I could barely bench 145 lbs. I stuck to it and now I am up to 375 lbs., I work out 4 days a week and I swim 3 say a week. I don’t run or walk because of the stress on my knees, I think once I get to my target weight I will start to run. Just recently I have noticed that I have gained 15 lbs. but my waist and my shirt size has reduced by 3 sizes. At first I was frustrated about the weight gain but I was told that I am gaining muscle mass and it is much heavier than fat. I think I am going to add more cardio to my routine so I can get to my target weight then I will continue my weight regimen. I am so glad I decided to have this surgery..it has really changed my life!!!
