  1. I thought you were just dumb all this time!! PRETTY ( as per your picture) but dumb
  2. Whoa... That's a an app I've not seen before. I'm stumped.
  3. Yeah same here... In the form of tossing and turning all night! O_o Ok tomorrow it's a date!
  4. Are you on a phone app? If you are go to the bottom and on the far right click on the "more" icon that will bring up anther page. On that page click on "profile" when you get to your profile click the blank avatar and then it will prompt you on how to do it.
  5. KNOCK IT OFF!! I think the best way to look at this time right after surgery is that it's NOT A DIET. It is a slow progression back to "real" food to let your stomach heal! It was cut and burned off then stapled back together. And things won't hurt right now because most likely it is still numb and swollen. Be good to yourself! Give yourself time
  6. So update.. After finishing my first fast day yesterday of my second week I'm holding steady at 168 (no loss today) last week I started at 171 I had been stuck at the number for months. After first week of the fast I went down to 169 which was very exciting! After a major party and much alcohol I went down to 166!! (dehydration I know) Evened out at 168. I'm good with it and I know my body well enough to know it will probably stay there this week. Oh and the first two fast days I was grumpy and off yesterday being my third, I felt a lot better

I felt a lot better I will throw this post over to the 5:2 thread.. Not sure if we are trying to move it all there or what?
  8. Haha. See last year if I capsized I would of been wedged in there! I could barely hoist my body out at the dock! And when I finally got out? I had to lay on the dock like some bloated sea lion for about five minutes before I could stand up! Now easy peasy Oh and I love running up my stairs too. It's funny how such a small thing feels so good. I think the stairs especially are a big NSV for me, because before the surgery that is when I felt my mortality the most. At night when going up the stairs and getting into bed with my heart pounding and breathless... Scary stuff man.
  9. In my mind and in my daily life I am so proud of my loss. I think why it's hard to "see" sometimes is that it's still my same body just a smaller version the weight loss did not change my body shape. I'm still short with knock knees and old! It's all about being realistic AND happy with our accomplishments though. Your are right antiBand we are all awesome at all of our stages. I for one no longer take meds and I can fit in a kayak and not worry about getting stuck.
  10. I know the feeling... I went shopping at the mall yesterday for a new pair of jeans. I left the house feeling stylish and kinda sexy driving our new car with the top down Enter the mall... The first thing I see is a reflection of myself in a random mirror. And I look old and still FAT! I went to the gap to buy a pair of jeans I know I'm size 12 there now, and I don't know, while I was in the dressing room I see my fat thighs and old woman ass (47 last week) in the double mirrors and got more down.... For f**k sakes I went from a size 20+ to a 12 pure no stretch denim and I still feel just as big sometimes.
  11. At 2 weeks post op, I didn't even look at a scale yet! You are swollen still from surgery and also the the trip to the ER pumped you full of even more liquids. Take some deep cleansing breaths, give your body time to heal and don't stress the scale yet
  12. You should! You can join me, I'm still in week one 3 weeks later....
  13. At 3 1/2 months 64oz.. it takes planning and dedication but you should at LEAST be getting that.. Oh and you said you "think" you only get 30 to 40oz. Get a container! I use a Powerade zero bottle (32oz) I drink 1 poweraid a day then make sure to fill it up two more times a day to get 96oz A day.
  14. Oh Molly that's awesome!! I'm so happy for you
  15. Off subject but FYE I was spying... I mean checking out your profile today The one picture of you and your puppy at the art exhibit opening?? Beautiful and the outfit? I want to shop with you!
