  1. Ok my dear..If this lazy girl can do it, anybody can!! Get your butt to running!
  2. Yes the restriction won't really come into play until you eat more solid proteins. And even then depending on how soon you advance you want to be really careful and measure your meals because in the early stages your stomach is still somewhat numb and you might not "feel" the full feeling just yet. It will get better and all work out just follow your plan and let your stomach heal.
  3. My husband bought some of the chocolate ones before.. I had a hard time with them in the house so he hasn't bought them since. But carrot cake?? it would be all over! No hard time just shoveling them in my pie hole I'm sure! Being this far out I can eat anything I looked up the calories once for the chocolate one they are around 690!!
  4. OMG...CARROT CAKE CUPCAKES?? I can never walk into costco again, I cannot be trusted knowing they have those. Oh here's part of fiddlemans list! chicken meatballs (each serving about 1 oz) Chicken patties (each serving about 5 oz) Chicken sausage (each serving about 3 oz) Turkey sausage links (each serving about 1 oz) Steak strips - a bit like beef jerkey, but thick cut and marinated. Very good and 98% lean. Brings the man out in you for guys(arg!!) Rotisserie chicken (dinner option, so many ways to prepare it!) The patties make for a great lunch. The meatballs (4-5) and sausage (3oz) make for a good morning ar afternoon snack. 2 sausage links are good with 1-2 scrambled eggs in the morning.
  5. Hey fiddleman always gets the chicken skewers. I don't know if they are in the frozen section or not but he swears they are yummy.
  6. The frozen salmon burgers 20 grams Protein Also there is a frozen turkey patty that has 30 grams of protein Oh and big giant containers of hummus. And don't forget the toilet paper
  7. Ok I'm back on the wagon... I mean treadmill! Just finished week 1 day 3 AGAIN It was mentally hard starting back up again, but it went pretty good! Oh and a funny NSV my slim 17 year old mouthy daughter walked in as I was running and sat down and stared at me. I look over at her and gave her a friendly hand gesture (just joking ok not really) She says "what?" Then she says "you look really good" !!! What the what??? From the same girl that just last week as we were out pointed out my sleeveless arms and asked "are you going to have surgery on those?" 0_o She said I looked good, and I looked good running!
  8. Hope everyone's Sunday is going well so far. This has been an interesting few weeks for all of us in the sense there seems to be lots of social functions and vacations. Today I'm getting back in the swing of things including dusting off the treadmill. Oh good job Cheri! And yum Cookies
  9. You better start hiding the credit card! I think a clothes hound is in the making here!! But really I must admit I've been having a bit if fun too shopping And so will you very soon!
  10. I thought you got a lot of good answers on the other thread you started..... But ok here's my answer again You choose your surgeon for a reason.. I think the best thing you can do is follow his or her plan. Because you will drive yourself crazy comparing to others plans and if you find a plan you like better how are you going to explain that to your surgeon should there be a problem. "Well I thought your plan sucked so I followed this other girls plan I liked better"

  12. Because that would be like Mick Jagger (or Justin Bieber depending on your age) Giving out their personal phone number... They would never be able to sleep from all the ringing
  13. That's it fiddle I need to be pushed today! Shame me if you have to!
  14. I'm feeling the same way! When I started this I just wanted to be healthy and get away with looking good clothed. I have more weight to lose until goal (29 pounds) But I definitely have problem areas already. Funny enough my stomach is fine. But the thighs are a mess they have been a problem area. Even when I was smaller I should say thighs all the way down to my knees (and below) In a perfect world I would love to wear shorts but I don't know that I will ever be able to do that without surgery. I've seen thigh lift photos the scar is massive! My take away? I'd rather have a saggy stomach than saggy thighs!
  15. Well ladies I just read this whole thread. And.... Skinny b*****s indeed! Hehehehe
  16. It's better than what I've been doing the last couple of days! I have been back from vacation for DAYS but haven't been able to talk myself into doing c25k...
  17. Good morning VST!!! Slacker in the house!! Anybody running today??
  18. Lol no! I had it done in California.... And it was not a blast But your right some of the girls (and guys) that go there have great fun by making a vacation out if it also
  19. I know what it's like to give into grief. I have suffered a terrible loss that will effect me for the rest if my life.... But at some point we do need to begin to live again and start taking care of ourselves. I'm glad that you are taking the steps to do that. You deserve to be healthy and to invite some happiness back into your life. I'm wishing you the best. And we will all be here to help you through.
