  3. You're doing great! Remember, your body is still adjusting. I'm 10 weeks out and have lost 57 pounds. I lost the same amount as you during my first few weeks, then hit a MAJOR stall. I'm telling you this so you won't panic when the time comes. You will stall. But, remain encouraged. My first stall occurred right after the three week mark. It scared and discouraged me, because I didn't see any weight loss for about another three weeks straight. I stayed with the program and it started coming off again! Now, I realize it was really just my body's way of catching up with everything. Again, congrats! Hope to hear from you more on the board. LovelyOne

  6. Hi, ladies. I hope I'm not losing the tightness of my sleeve,so hopefully someone will answer in the affirmative. I've noticed that since yesterday, I have been unusually hungry. Not only do I want the healthy foods I now eat, but I'm craving carbs. I'm 9 weeks out and usually I don't feel hungry between meals, but today I am just famished. Just got back from the store where I picked up a pickle, some popcorn, cake and ice cream. I'm about to cry, because I can't believe I have folded this early in the game. However, my body seems to be CRYING for junk all of a sudden. I start my cycle in a few days and I'm wondering if this could be the cause of my extreme hunger and cravings. Please let me know if you have experienced the same, and how you have handled it. Sisterly, Lovely

  10. Tanks, everyone. I do feel much better now. Have a great week!
  11. Hi all. I think this is my fist post. And I'm coming with a question. I was sleeved on June 26th, and had absolutely no complications. No nausea, pain, reflux at all. In fact, I remember telling my doc I didn't even feel like I'd had surgery. Flash forward to today. After being able to eat 6 ounces of yogurt last night, I became worried about my intake. I'm hearing about problems ingesting, mbut I have none of that. In fact, I had a Protein shake this morning and another just now (4 pm). While I'm not starving, I don't feel full. Sill craving a sloppy joe sandwich I saw earlier, though my stomach's not growling o anything. In addition to my two shakes, I have had two glasses of Water so far. Shouldn't I be feeling really stuffed? As crazy as it sounds, I feel like I might be the one person this doesn't work for. Please respond, because I am just so disenchanted right now. I will remain committed to weight loss, but I was hoping the sleeve would make things a lot easier. Is there a chance that this didn't work for me? LovelyOne

  13. Hi there! I was sleeved on Wednesday and immediately given the breathing tube thing to work with, since I was taking shallow breaths without realizing it. They sent it home with me. I have to inhale deeply three times a day. Can you contact your doctor to see if you can have one of these? I'm still short of breath, but this is helping a lot. Good luck! LovelyOne
