  1. That's what my doc said too. She would hope to be able to do it in one however she won't know For sure until she is in there! I'm really hoping for the best and that she can do it in one. I've had the band for 3 years and last month did a barium swallow and all looked ok but nothing is promised. So we will see. They make you get re approved for surgery if its in 2 steps? Would they cover the removal?
  2. South king county here!
  3. Who all were able to get the band to sleeve in one procedure? How many had to do two procedures? And if it was two, how long was the wait time for you?
  4. Thanks! It will be hard but with this band it's impossible! Support groups and talking always helps, however I need to know its possible before paying out so much and putting my body thru more!
  5. So true. Just worries me ya know?! I don't want to fail! Again!
  6. I am going to do revision if all goes as planned from band to sleeve however I'd like to lose approx 19lbs. Is that even possible with the sleeve? When I go in on the 21st again I will talk with my Dr. She did my band and seems to think sleeve would be a good option. I do not want rny but is that the only way to lose that much?! :/

  8. I use Kamasutra Brand Spearmint Stimulating G. Tastes like spearmint, kind of numbs things and gets him tingly and if you gently blow on it it's even better. http://www.loverspackage.com/p-70966-kama-sutra-pleasure-balm.aspx At this point they are worried if your "gagging". Right after I got banded I was careful with the gagging cause for us, that could lead to worse things. So just take it easy. Distract him with new things. I will be revising hopefully in march and will need new tricks for then!
  9. Do yoU have to be a certain age for Medicare ? Or Medicade? I think I'm a little confused on this. Or is it apart of your insurance?
