  1. Congratulations on your transformation and thank you for sharing your wisdom!
  2. 49 miles so far this month. Probably not going to make 100 but still feeling good about being more active this month!
  3. I made a version of this for breakfast and it was awesome!
  4. I got meatballs and sauce at Sbarro last time I was starving at a mall. Yum!
  5. Best of luck! This is scary but you 'll be changing your life for the better.
  6. Best of luck! This is scary but you 'll be changing your life for the better.
  7. I was sleeved May 24th and I am down 49 pounds. Stalling for a week but trying not to freak about it. Just put on a pair of size 18 jeans for the first time since high school!
  8. What a transformation! Great job!
  9. Good work! You're doing great!
  10. Congrats! You are an inspiration. I'm sure you can bust those last 20 pounds!
  11. I took 2 weeks off, probably could have taken three. I napped at lunch and right after work for the next two more weeks but I wasn't in pain.
  12. The Wonderslim pancake was AWESOME. I added a bit more vanilla protein powder, cinnamon and fresh blueberries and had enough for two small meals once cooked.
  13. I bought a can of whipped cream and ate it in the car in the grocery store parking lot. Well, luckily only four or five mouthfuls and I felt like I was going to burst! I also got a pumpkin shake last week. The sugar hit me after I drank a few hits through a straw so I quit and threw it away... And mourned the unbeaten amount for most of the rest of the afternoon. Stupid PMS sweets cravings! I'm really lucky that sugar will make me dump. I learned the hard way after an oatmeal cranberry cookie last month. Ugh!!
  14. My surgeon also tested for nicotine pre-surgery and would not perform surgery if it was positive. Nicotine usage is correlated very highly with ulcers at the incisions line and retards healing.
  15. Some of mine are: - Horseback Riding: I used to do this, want to get back to it as an adult. - kayaking: I've been too afraid I wouldn't fit in the hole. - learn to dance (swing, polka, two step, whatever) - wear boots that come up to my knee! I plan to buy a few pairs when I get to non-wide calf size - run a 5K - learn the silks (like P!nk does) - learn to hoop dance - go caving/ spelunking - wear strapless dresses - shop for pants in regular size stores - share clothes with my sisters - have a baby
  16. Love your attitude and you are gorgeous!
  17. I'm in - my name is Holly.
  18. I crave salad, but I still can't eat raw veggies other than cucumber. I am really craving now is apples as it is apple season, but they don't sit well raw either. This summer I missed melon SO badly, but could not tolerate it. I used to crave pizza but I've had the toppings a few times and it was disappointing so I am mostly over that. I do love that my sweets cravings are so much lower than pre-surgery!!
  19. Those cocoa roasted almonds are my go-to sweets craving buster. They come in 100 calorie packs.
  20. Laure, I have my teaspoon of honey and half teaspoon of cinnamon every morning without a problem... I started at 3 months post surgery though.
  21. I gained in week 1, lost in week 2, and stalled for weeks 3-5, then lost a ton in week 6. We all lose at a different rate. Try not to stress out too much in the first couple of months. You are healing. Follow the plan, get your protein and fluids, and walk. Good luck!
  22. Thanks so much for sharing, especially the photos! Plastics scares me but I also think I'll need at least a thigh lift.
  23. I dream of skinny jeans, tights, short skirts, and closet full of tall leather boots!
  24. They fixed my hiatal hernia as part of my surgery. Hope it all works out for you!
