  1. three months out and not a single problem... i'm 28 years old, had surgery on tuesday and was back at work on Saturday morning. The only problems i've come across is head hunger and thats something that i'll just have to take one day at a time and deal with it.
  2. Awww thanks Cat .... In time you will become an expert and be able to help others.
  3. i made my 5 weeks Tuesday and I'm down 47lbs ( including pre op of course) its like i'm so excited to go to my next dr's appt to get on the scale. I love seeing the other patients who were sleeved the same time as me.... the dr's office i go to has such an awesome support system!! time sure does fly because it feels like yesterday I was creating my username and password for here trying to find out info on being sleeved.
  4. Also aussie's bluntness is also another lesson to be learned ... Ppl in our daily lives have become so accustomed to us being the "fat" friend it's a eye opener when we start getting into their group ... Some won't like it very much
  5. Aussie I was sleeved on 3-19-13 & couldn't be happier with my decision
  6. Absolutely, you know your body the best.
  7. I was only able to because I knew I was going to have the surgery and I would then be able to control my urges
  8. I personally ate my bootie off!!!! For me it was the only time I could honestly guilt free eat what I wanted and how much I wanted. I now have the frame of mind that Humm ill eat it again some day so it's no big deal. Also my last and final binge reminded me of how much I could and would eat on a normal basis. It was my final confirmation that this was my only option to save my life.
  9. I'm 5 weeks out and on week 3 started a stall that lasted 11 days !!!!! Finally seeing numbers start dropping again.... If your uncomfortable with your dirt go back to the basics and be sure to get all of your water in.
  10. I'm the exact same here.... made 4 weeks Tuesday and for 10 days now i've been toggling between those three pounds.... I have an appt with my NUT today and hopefully we can talk about fixing this problem.... good luck to you both and i'll let you know the outcome of my appt today
  11. United Heath Care covered NOTHING for me ... payed all out of pocket!!!
  12. awesome!!!!! can't wait to get where your at!!! thanks for the motivation...
  13. it was extremely hard for me at first because i had no desire but just sip slowly all day. I found it a lot easier to do broth as hot as i could stand it... went down way better than the cold stuff. 4 weeks post op & life is much easier!!!! good luck
  14. I was feeling the same way!!!! I took a recent side picture of myself and compared the two and omg ..... the scale wasn't moving but it looked like inches have been.... Hang in there and just always remember your not gaining!!!
  15. Best decision i've ever made... Congrats and good luck! i'm two weeks out and down 15 lbs since surgery and 37 total adding in loss from pre-op diet
  16. Thanks . Congrats on your success so far
  17. Sleeved 3-19-13 feeling great Good amount of energy. Hard to get the water in. I know it's still early but when will the weight start to come off ? Out of curiosity I got on the scale yesterday and exact same pre op ;( I know it was to soon but I'd of been excited with one pound lost
