Aetna needs 2 years weight history,which is just the documentation regarding your weight they are not looking at the BMI, for each year they will consider the BMI as of current date. your PCP only needs to show 6 consecutive months of diet history or you can do 3 month with a nutritionalist then your psych ev..al

It can vary based on your medical history. I have no medical issues however my BMI is 35 so I had to submit 6 months with primary 2 years weight history,gall bladder scan,hpylori screen psych eval,approved within 8 days

The nurse told me the same info,about always testing positive. Im glad that I did have the test bc I would have not known about the risk for developing ulcers etc. This gives me the opportunity to make some changes in diet. I gotta stay away from acidic foods,ugh! i love italian foods. O well,better healthy:)

my results came back positive,but my doctor said its not necessary to retest or retreat

I was going to a weightloss program and I requested my whole history which charted my weigh in..That what my doctors submitted to Aetna for the weight history

I have Aetna and my paper was submitted on 11/7 ,clinicals 11/13 after reading all the post I decided to call to check on my status and I was APPROVED today 11/19. I havent been scheduled as of yet but I hoping by the end of the year.
