My period was worse the heavier I was. Started at 353 and would have a very heavy period for 3 to 4 days the spot for a couple. Now 124 pounds down I get it for 3 days and I'm done. The cramps on the other hand are so much worse. Hope it gets better for you.
  2. My husband are from Wellington and both had our surgeries with Dr Wizman last year. Him and his staff in Wellington are awesome. Best decision we've ever made was having this surgery. Good luck!
  3. My husband and I both had our surgeries with Dr Wizman in Wellington a year ago. He's awesome and couldn't be happier with his office staff! Good luck, best decision we ever made.

  5. I am having the same problem... My stomach is where I carried most my weight and now in the center it's like the great divide, lol. Not losing as much there as I would like but losing none the less. 97 pounds since surgery in September and 117 since highest.
  6. It has made our relationship that much stronger. It may be because we both were sleeved 2 weeks apart but we are more in love now than ever. And the added bonus of more intimacy is awesome. I mean we were intimate before but man has it increased. TMI I know, lol
  7. You will be fine. My husband and I had our 2 weeks apart and neither of us had anyone at home with us when we got home. By the time I had mine he was already back to work. Good luck on your journey together. It has been the best decision both if us have made and doing it together makes it that much better!
  8. I've lost 76 pounds including my preop, sleeved in sept. I've lost from my face, chest, some arms and some legs. Gone down 1 shoe size and 6 sizes in pants. However I have hardly lost anything in my lower part of my stomach. Unfortunately that's the place that holds the majority of my weight, ugh! But I am super pleased with the 76 pounds, lol!
  9. Sleeved sept 10th... Down 76 pounds since pre op diet! Love it!
  10. I was able to paint my own toe nails for the first time in years... May not look perfect but the fact that I did it was amazing! So proud or myself and incredibly happy with my sleeve decision! It's the small things that excite me!
  11. Surgery date Sept 10th, weight prior to preop 345 and with preop 335. Down to 275 now! Woohoo!
  12. My husband and I had our surgery 2 weeks apart. He started at 454 and is down to 341 and I started at 345 down to 275. His surgery date was Aug 27 and mine was Sept 10. Best decision ever. The top pic was 3 weeks after his and a week after mine. Bottom pic was this weekend!
  13. I am thankful for several things with my sleeve... 1. No more diabetes meds at all 2. Losing almost 70 pounds in under 4 months, currently the lowest weight I've been in over 10 years but still have a long way to go, 3. Shopping in a regular store and buying pants 6 sizes smaller. Still working on buying new shirts. 7. The sex????woohoo!
  14. Good luck to you and your hubby! My husband and I did our surgeries 2 weeks apart. It really helped that we did it together... I feel like our relationship has grown stronger because of it too!
  15. I'm 3 months out and have good and bad days with the back pain.
  16. So did they tell you if the pain would eventually go away?
  17. I have been having pain too, like s burning type pain if I stand in 1 spot too long and sit without my back on the chair. What is this mesh they are talking about?
  18. Congrats you look amazing! I too have lost 60 pounds. I bought my first pair of pants and they are 6 sizes smaller! Now if I could just start losing some of my lower belly...
  19. Surgery date 9/10 Surgery weight 335 Todays weight 285 Lost 10 pounds on pre op diet making total list 60 pounds... On my 3rd stall but staying strong!
  20. Just be patient... I was sleeved sept 10th and have lost 60 total including 10 from preop. I have had 3 stalls now but can see that I'm losing inches. I'm a slow loser for sure but keep reminding myself it's so gonna be worth it in the end! Good luck
  21. My husband and I had our surgeries 2 weeks apart. We did it like that so we could go through the journey together every step of the way. We are 3 months out and doing great. Pay attention to your post op instructions and you should do great! I was off work 2 weeks and he was off 3 weeks. Took the extra week off to stay with me.
  22. My husband and I both had the surgery 2 weeks apart... Has made us stronger if anything... We are each others biggest supporters. The only big change is the sex... Lots of it now... Sorry tmi I know:)
  23. I started spotting on schedule after my surgery but spotted for 4 days which is unusual. I'm 3 months out now and find from 4 to 5 days to 3 to 4 days. Which is totally fine in my book!
