I have to get a hotel close to my doctor after I am released from hospital..for 48 hours after surgery

I got 4 flavors of protien shakes.water ..gatorade..and liquid vitamins..head.phones chapstick..comfy clothes..ipod..hair ties..heating pad..slippers...ALL THANKS TO EVERYONES POSTS...am I.missing anything??¿..im exited now

I have liquid and pouring it in morning shakes..is that okay?

My surgery is tommorow and I have knots in my stomach..and almost in tears..i was fine until about an hour ago...i could cry if I allowed myself..any advice from those who went theough this already..this forum really helps me when I hear positivity..im so anxiuos..feeling like I forgot something..and how everything will go..reality just sank in....like a brick!!..help..and advice is welcome..success stories..anything... thanks yall!¡

Theres no shame in this surgery..just be proud..i tell complete strangers if it comes up..if they are good people..they will be soooo happy for you. If they are not..then not worth the energy your using thinking of what to tell them.

I have surgery on wednesday..my nerves are getting better...wanting to know any tips..or ideas..what to get to prepare..i got enough protien shakes..any ideas of what else I should get..unflavored..anythkng you post op peeps found you needed after the surgery you didnt think ???

I am sooo grumpy the sooner it is to my date..I have 5 days and I am biting everyone's head off!!..and telling myself I should snack..I had a Dinner out tonight ..and now I am going on clear liquids because I feels so bad about tonight..and I'm yelling at everyone..any one do this?

Its called ON-Q pain pump..it seems pretty cool..

My pre open was today and they showed me a ball that will be left on for three days and it has a numbing medicine and releases on my stomach to numb pain...sounds kind of cool ...any one else have one of these? ..what was your pain level..and your experience any tips???
