Well, I'm almost up Feb 26th, the time flew by, then it's off to Mexico to finally see Dr. Garcia. I hope getting the sleeve is the right choice. It's getting closer and closer....

I told Dr Luna they are staying on. I planned on using a clear.

The pulse oxmeter. I have had 7 surgeries in the course of 10 years of course here in the US and never removed them but Dr Luna said it would be best.

Has anyone had surgery in Mexico and kept their acrylic nails on?

I guess I'm confused. Why would you need an attorney to appeal? Seems like a waste of money. I would head to Mexico before I did that. That's what I'm doing. Not wasting another moment on the insurance BS!

Jesser I know how you feel, I also went with ready 4 a change, I had to push my surgery from feb 8th to feb 25th, now I may have to push a little farther out :-( I also contacted ready 4 a change about that program Ed mentioned and Alma said they aren't doing it. So frustrating!

Oh no sorry :-) I arrive at 10am on feb 25th and leave at noon on the 2nd. alma told me the 1st or 2nd I could leave. I chose the 2nd to have a little more time. I am flying 5 hrs altogether.

I have changed from 2/8 to 2/26...

My surgery date has been changed from feb 8 to feb 26th. Anyone else on the 26th with Dr. Garcia?

@ataylor, my tax return is paying for some it and we won't get it back in time, my surgery was originally on Feb 8

So sad...my date was pushed back to Feb 26th :-(

Hellooo VST world, I'm Stephanie 36, 245, 5'9 and scheduled for surgery in TJ on February 8 with Dr. Fernando Garcia. Scared to death since I will be going alone and have to leave my new baby and 14 yr old boy and husband here! I had a band in 2006, always had complications always throwing up and miserable. Couldn't eat healthy but lost 200 lbs in 18 mos. upon removal in dec of 2011 found out I was pregnant and gained 85 lbs :-( so here I am. Insurance won't pay and I'm on my way to Mexico! Never in this life did ever think I would do this in Mexico I pray I made the right choice and its worth it!
