Help
I am 9 months post OP, and have lost almost 90lbs. In the last week I have GAINED 10lbs!!! I know I haven't been on top of the food choices but they haven't been horrible. I am just finishing TOM so idk if that has any impact. Do u think stress would play a part? I'm going thru a messy divorce and stress is constant. Do u think I should go back to protein shakes for a few days?? Just looking for advice, I am freaking out. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm so scared that I will put the weight back on.

How long were you out of work?
Everyone is different but I went back a day short of a week but I have a desk job. I felt good, not nearly as tired as I thought I would be. Just remember to get your fluids in! Good luck! Getting the sleeve is the best decision I have ever made!

Ugh! A Stall
Oh the wonderful stalls....I understand your frustration! I stalled about about a week and a half when I was about 3 weeks post op. I thought I would be the only one out there that the sleeve didn't work for There are a lot of people that run into the same thing!! Although it is frustrating as heck, keep your head up and know you will overcome it! Just a bump in our wonderful journey to becoming healthy!

Vsg In Minneapolis Area?
I also had Dr Jones out of Park Nicollet. I had a great experience from first walking into the office to going to my post op appts. Everyone is friendly and helpful and most of the nurses have been through a WLS themselves which made me feel better. I am a little over a month post op and have had no problems at all. Was back to work in less than a week. My friend had hers done there also and recommended Dr. Jones. She is about a year and a half out and still has good things to say about them. Good luck with your journey!! It is worth all the work!!! Best decision I have made!

Stalls:(
I am on week 2 of the 3rd week stall...I understand how crazy it can make you!! I have been frustrated and feel like a failure. But it is encouraging to read that others go through the same thing and it will eventually break. Hang in there a up and keep your head up! We will be "losers" in no time

Finally! The Stall Is Over And The Scale Is Moving! Whew!
Oh my gosh thank you for posting this! I am on my second week for this stall and I am going crazy. I cannot seem to break myself of weighing everyday and it gets frustrating! It even went up 2 lbs at one point!! I start thinking that maybe this is not going to work for me and I will fail like the countless other diets I have done. It feels good to know others are going thru this too and that it will eventually end. So glad I can come on here and feel better! Thanks and good luck to you!!

No Vitamins Or Supplements Til Puree Stage
I was also told no vitamins until the pureed stage...it is amazing how different Drs have different rules and preop diets.

Greys Anatomy
I seen that!! I told my husband..yep that is what my belly is going to look like! Hope someday I will be able to have the extra skin removed!

Eating Solids
I have had the same thought. And as much as I know that everyone is different, it still feels like I am the only one that is eating too much. I think we get an idea of what it is going to be like after surgery and if something is slightly different then that we panic. I am sure you are doing fine...just worrying Stay strong!
