  2. Good morning, sorry I'm just updating, just been tired. My experience was good, and I know u will be glad u selected Dr. Baker. I honestly did not have severe pain and no gas or nausea at all. He take preventive measures before u go in suirgery to get a head start on this. Just before surgery he gave me an injection of Pepcid and Ragland (spelling). I had a hernia repaired that I did not know I had. Today is day six and I able to get liquids in,still struggling with the Protein that takes some creativity with been restriced to full liquids for the next week. Only concern I'm having now is these chills! I have chills all day and cannot get enough cover to get warm.no fever so that's good. I did weigh this morning couldn't resist down to 277 from 280 day of surgery on 10/10.
  3. Questii. I was sleeved on the 10th. I feel good,liquids going down well having a problem getting the protein. I'm on full liquids for the next two weeks. I'm having violent chills, I'm cold to the bone. Then I will have a sweat. Is anyone having problems with chills. I check my temp and it normal.

  5. That's right, let go and let God. He got you. I had my surgery yesterday and that's whay I did. I prayed about and a calmness and peace came ova me. I go home in the morning. I will be praying for you.
  6. Praise God I did it! In my room, just walkled aroiund the nurses station no nausea, little pain.just wanted to check in. Nite nite..the cpocktails r kicking in. Thanks for all the prayeres.

I live in Pine Bluff so I used a Dr here (dr.hunt) I lost 20 lbs total, 13 came from the 14 day liquid diet.I used a health coach through health advantage and my pcp for the 6 month diet. My pcp got upset with me because I wasn't loosing weight, I guess I was waiting on the sleeve I will keep u posted.
  10. Also have Health Advantage and the process was easy. Dr Baker's office submitted my paper work on the 25th had an approval 4 days later. The 6 month requirement was the hardest.

  13. God's grace to all that is going to have surgery today. I am 64 hours away frfom my big day. I'm surprisingly calm. I know God is in control and I will be fine. Bags pack and ready to go. As of today I'm 13 pounds down on day 13 of my liquid diet.

  15. They do work, I'm 8 days on liquids and have lost 12 lbs. But I'm soooo sick of these sweets shakes. What else can I do?
  16. Hi Gail, welcome aboard! My name is Gail also. I'm on day 8 of a 14 day liquids only diet. I'm down 10 lbs. Yay... the liquid diet ain't no joke but its getting better each day. My surgery is scheduled fot th 10 th so i m also to the loosers bench. I know u will enjoy this forum.
