  1. I'm 5 months post op and I am tired of water was thinking about trying sparking 0 calorie water any bad experiences or success?
  2. I drink about 3 protein shakes a day I just can't stomach meat no matter what I do to it it hurts going down I tried chewing for longer tiny bites and nothing so steer clear of meat.
  3. No meat. Lots of beans in sauce. Sometimes a bite or 2 of bread. And tons of fruit.
  4. How much is everyone eating and what foods? I feel like I am over eating.
  5. I am almost 5 weeks out and cannot find a protein shake that I can keep down. I tried the protein shots and various brands and flavors of protein shakes. Any suggestions?
  6. I noticed that too my body is getting softer your not alone on that I'm thinking its cause the fat is going away.
  7. Sleeved 9/12/12 weigh in day of surgery 241 current weight 200.
  8. I'm 21 days out and still unable to get in all my protein and fluids.
  9. My gyno said that it gets regular because the heavier you are the more estrogen your body stores. I too experienced the same thing and was a little worried. Hope this helps
  10. I had that problem and requested they take me off the narcotics soon as they did they gave me Toradol and I was able sip everything my surgeon prescribed.
  11. I had the same problem let me tell you walking works wonders I was stubborn in the hospital and didn't walk when the pain hit I walked and was passing gas and burping in no time. Hope it helps. Congrats!!
  12. I was told to start mushy foods ( exact words) I think I'm just scared to try them so I was wondering what "mushy" foods everyone else was eating at this stage maybe I will find something I feel comfortable trying.
  13. I am wondering what other people were eating at this point? I seem to only stomach beef broth and water sometimes a little yogurt. I just started getting my protein in by adding bananas to the mix so I can drink it.
  14. It def is the surgery my highest sugar since I had my surgery was 137 keep in mind I'm only 5 days post op.
  15. I'm looking for a good tasting broth any suggestions the ones I got so far do not taste good and make me nausea.
  16. Ok I'm going out for some crystal light see if that works. Thank you for all your suggestions I'm gonna try them one at a time till I find one that works best for me.
  17. I had mine done at Lehigh Valley Hospital. I am not in a lot of pain to be honest when I was discharged I went to the mall to walk best thing I ever did for the gas pain. One piece of advice I found useful once out of surgery don't go for narcotic pain killers they increase nausea I opted for Toradol and it worked miracles.
  18. My surgery went well I feel great except I'm concerned I'm not getting enough fluids.
  19. I am looking for suggestions on staying hydrated I am sipping water but it doesn't seem to be enough. Any tips or tricks?
