Oh joy. Amanda RaeYep. Buffalo. Amanda RaeThere is a lady here who had surgery the day after me. She was getting her sleeve re-sleeved. The 1st sleeve was a botched sleeve. She went with Dr. Pompa the first time and Dr. Aceves was fixing it. She told me once she starting call Dr. Pompa's group with her issues they stopped responding. Amanda RaeOops. Maximum of two drinks. Amanda RaeI'm so ready to get the drain out! Dr Aceves is so nice and personable. My mom, who was extremely skeptical about surgery on Mx, is impressed and pleased. It may sound a bit silly but after all the research I've been doing on this when I met him it was almost like meeting a celebrity. Smh... Silly. Amanda RaeAny nausea or pain? Gas? Amanda RaeDrain comes out tomorrow after barium leak test/x-ray. Thursday will be back to San Diego. Flying home on Friday. Amanda RaeI had a 10 day preop diet of two Protein shakes and a lean meat plus salad. I had to start fasting by 7am Sunday for my preop testing later that day. Once I completed my preop testing I was allowed a regular farewell meal, I think I ate buffalo?!?!?, and a maximum of two adult beverages. I had one. Amanda RaeMe too. It's easy sipping. Thank you for sharing your story. I'm glad you're home and recovering. I'm also sorry to hear about your less than stellar. I hope to hear more about your successes going forward. Amanda RaeWell I'm feeling a bit more human. Not a lot of pain. Nausea way down and the staff here are all over it. They are helping me with my very limited Spanish. Dr. Aceves is so nice. Checks in about three times a day. Gave me an amazing shoulder and back rub to help with gas! Leak test in a few hours. Then juice and broth. Then shower!!!! Going to do some laps soon.
