  1. Nope . Everything has been good .
  2. Ok I know I'm not suppose to eat them, but I must confess I had 6 baked chips. Chewed them till they were mush. How does it affect the stomach? It didn't hurt & the 6 chips filled me up. I just want to know what it does to the stomach. I'm 17 wks out.
  3. I'll have to try a Hawaiian roll, never had that, what's in it?
  4. I'm 16 wks out. I'm going to call them today, as soon as the office opens.
  5. I have a cold & my throat is killing me. I tried taking day quil & my stomach felt like it was burning , so I stopped taking it. Anyone been through this , have any suggestions ?
  6. You should be fine , I've had cereal about 8 wks out, only 1/4 of a cup , with lactaid milk. My stomach doesn't handle reg milk very well. The only way to find out what your stomach can handle is to try a little at a time. My dr told me , try anything , see how it reacts , just remember eat very little
  7. Thanks everyone , I'm so glad our new stomachs love sushi
  8. Thanks everyone , now I know what I'll have for my next dinner .
  9. Thanks Cyncitygirl !! You will get there , I'm sure of it.
  10. SandyReed74 , add me , add me !!! Would love to have friends MFP
  11. I am 15 wks out , & would love to go out & eat seaweed salad & sushi . Has anyone tried it yet? Dr said I could eat anything , but I'm just curious how this would digest .
  12. -"gettinMeBack" thanks for the compliment , you look fabulous . What's your goal weight?
  13. I'm 5'2, don't be so hard on yourself . I felt that way the first month , things will get better , be confident , I wanted quicker results, but I'm learning to accept 1-2 lbs a week , when others are losing more. Fact is, before the surgery , I wasn't losing any lbs per week & stuck being fat. At least now it's slowly coming off. It will happen for you , good luck .
  14. I posted this pic up the other day, so some of you may have seen already , but I will share on this post Day of surgery - 209lbs 9/26/12 Me, recent pic - current weight - 155 lbs, same clothes I wore day of surgery , t-shirt is loose, sweats fit the way there suppose to, not skin tight , lol.
  15. Sleeved 9/26/12 - 209 lbs, lost 54 lbs do far
  16. Thanks everyone , I have thunder thighs & a gut to get rid of , lol. So that's the rest of my weight I need to lose. Unfortunately I'm loosing my butt & boobs too. Hopefully by next yr I'll have the money for a lift & tummy tuck , lol.
  17. I've just been trying to eat the right foods, I admit I've cheated here & there , mostly on Thanksgiving & Christmas , but now I'm back on track. I started the gym 6 weeks after surgery, just doing cardio. It's not easy getting use to eating this way, but your pretty much forced to , your stomach will let you know , trust me. Just remember , No Sugar, No Greasy Foods, No Carbonated Drinks. I've had stalls for 2 wks , which sucked , but I'm breaking that now, starting my purée stage all over again , just for a week . I am 38 yrs old. You will succeed in your weight loss, believe me, I get discouraged too when I see other pics of those who lost more than me, in the same amount of time. But we all lose at different times. Don't give up, it will happen Keep me posted
  18. I'm sure your results will be great, just think positive . Keep me posted. Please read all you can on here for pre-op & post op, all the info is so helpful.
  19. Thanks everyone for the kind compliments. I am only 5'2" . Very short , lol.
  20. Thanks for the compliment . I've lost 54 lbs so far. Day of surgery - 209 lbs - 9/26/12 , today I weigh 155 . My goal is 120. Almost there & it feels so good , best I've felt since my 20's , before I had kids , then my body left, it's coming back, lol.
