Hello everyone I have to start my two week diet on Wednesday for surgery on November 26th I'm getting very very anxious! I'm on the site everyday 10 times a day lol!! But I just want to know I'm on the right path so I'm going to list what I have so far for my full liquid diet two weeks before and 4 weeks after surgery.. I have muscle milk shakes, cookies and cream protein powder, cream soups, non fat dry milk, sf pudding, popsicles & light and fit yogurt. I want to know if anyone has any tips or anything.. I'm worried about how much I'm going to be in pain after surgery and how much I'll be able to take in? .. I'm staying at the hospital for 5-6 days because I'm younger and they want to keep a good eye on me.. I have a BMI of 52 and weigh 395 and I'm 6'1 & 17 years old.. Thank you all in advance for the advice (:

Thank you so much! I have been waiting about 2 years now I got approved last year but had some medical problems and couldn't go forward with it but now I'm back & ready I'm not gonna lie I am a bit nervous but I've had 4 other surgeries before so I know the drill!

Incase anyone didn't know I'm Nate! I'm 17 and I am 398 pounds and I just got approved for surgery!!! My surgery will be November 26th I am SO excited! I just want it to be here! I have all kinds of emotions going through my mind! I don't know really what to bring with me to my surgery.. I think I'll be in the hospital 5 days! I hope to see 230 by a year out!! What does everyone think? Please share with me your stories and support! Thank you all!!

Ugh I'm so impatient!! I have Caresource as my insurance & I wanted to see if anyone would think it would be acceptable to call them to see if they've made any decisions yet?

Yes very true I so cannot wait I've had different surgeries in the past & they are never as bad as it seems!! Keep us up to date!! & good luck!!!

Okay well I was 16 & I just had a lot going on I was sooooo nervous and just felt like i could try it again on my own... Unfortunately I gained 60 additional pounds and now I am just so big I literally hate it I am very nervous!!! But I'm gonna do it! I have one of the best team of doctors!

OMG I'm so excited I've already been approved once a year ago so hoping for the same results!!! Last time it took about 2 weeks, how long did it take you guys? & no I haven't had surgery before I just backed out last year but I'm in again & READY!!
