  1. I am getting sleeved in the spring of 2013. I am getting married in the summer of 2014. My fiance and I have never had sex. I have had sex before and have a child. He is a virgin. I do not want to have sex with him until I have lost a lot of weight because I want it to be both of our "first time". I figure having sex with an entirely new body is going to be like having sex for the first time all over again. I have a friend who told me that I am nuts, that the only thing that's going to be different about me is that everything is going to be saggy instead of plump. So I guess my question is this, is the sex different after you lose the weight. And keep in mind, I weigh over 400 pounds so there is a lot of weight to lose. I really will be a completely different person!
  2. I don't have the money to use a gym and it's too cold to take my toddler outside for a walk, even if I could handle the temperature myself. What are you guys doing for exercise? I don't have a wii and can't afford one. I am too heavy for the wii fit stuff anyway. I need something free that I can do in my house.
  3. My dr and nut both told me yesterday that they will not perform the sleeve on anyone with diabetes because the sleeve does not cure diabetes the way roux en y does. I am wondering if any of you who have had your surgery already are still having problems with diabetes or did the diabetes go away? Any of you who have not yet had your surgery, what have you been told by your dr's about the sleeve and your diabetes?
  4. Having been 350 pounds when I graduated from high school, I can tell you it really friggen sucks having to try and squeeze into those rotten desks and EVERYONE notices that you don't fit.
  5. I have a cousin who is just as heavy as I am. We are both over 400 pounds. I have only been able to carry one pregnancy close enough to term for the baby to survive. I am a good mom, own my own home, support my son without the help of dss, except for health insurance because my employer did not offer insurance. I have tried and tried to have more children. I have been pregnant 8 times. They all die. My doctor tells me every time that it's because I am overweight. Today I had to watch as my just as fat as me cousin gave birth to baby number 8. Her and her husband are homeless more often than not, sleeping in her mothers spare bedroom. They don't work. Their kids are always disgusting and injured. Right now her 2 year old has a broken arm. How come I am too fat to bring another child into my clean, loving home, but she can have 8 kids that she doesn't take care of after they aren't "cute" anymore? GRRRRRR Sorry, I just needed to get that out somewhere.
