  1. Hello all! I am still in the hospital, they tested me for a leak and there wasn't one! Yay! Then they scoped me and put in a drain thing( yuck) I felt like I had been hit by a train, but come to find out I was severely dehydrated ( I hadn't even been home for 24 hrs?) they gave me 4 bags of saline in surgery alone They had ivs going in both arms to get it in faster, so far between yesterday and today I've had over 10 bags! They think my fever got so high it just wiped everything out. They are stumped where the fevers coming from, and the blood that's coming up, but since they put the tube in it hasn't been to bad! I just hurt all over since they had to put me under and cut me open again! I have double the anesthesia but I must of lost some weight because they weighed me in my bathrobe and with all the fluid I had, i am 233 my preop weight. At At least I'm maintaining during this madness;) I am having terrible headaches also! Well thank you everyone for continued prayers, my babies need me and they haven't given me a date to home yet he just said we will see, whatever that means. Please disregard the run on sentences and misspellings , I'm a little loaded on morphine for the pain;)
  2. Thank you! This was scary, but with the grace of god , I will be able to go home to my kids soon
  3. Hi guys quick update, I have been readmitted in the hospital! I had developed a fever of 101.5 all night last night! They hade me go to the ER where my surgeon was waiting for me! They did a leak test that looked fine then took me into emergency surgery, they wanted to do a scope and he put in a drain tube! Yuck They are not sure what's wrong yet so we are waiting for test results, but he said at least 2-3 days in the hospital;(
  4. Just thought I would let everyone know Jessie is back in the hospital. She had a fever all last night. I checked her temp every hour it stayed between 99.9 and 101.5 . So we came back to Toledo ER. They gave her a ct scan everything looked fine. Then the scoped her. I just talked to the doctor he said no leaks present, but he put a drain in as a Pre caution. She will remain here in the hospital for at least 2 more days so they can find out why she is in so much pain.
  5. Thanks everyone! I called my doctor and he said that blood is normal! He then told me to crush up the meds! They made me take them whole in the hospital today nd it freaked me out...lol
  6. K you post op vets I need some help! I just got home from being sleeved and every time I drink water it starts foaming in the back of my throat, then when I spit out the foam it's pure blood!
