  1. Congrats! My only advice at this point is go easy, remember...you're medicated right now.
  2. I'm jealous. I drank too much too fast one day, then bent over to give the dog her insulin shot and threw up all over her. She was NOT happy.
  3. I gained almost 10 pounds while I was in the hospital and had to lose that first. It was very frustrating to come out of the hospital weighing more than when I went in! It'll go. Patience grasshoppa...
  4. I do ok with latex I think, but I have a serious problem with adhesives. Even paper tape removes skin. After my surgery, I had red patches pretty much from bra line to belly button. Plus, I was allergic to something in the elastic binder thingy you're supposed to wear, so I also had an itchy rash all around my midsection. Fun times.
  5. My stomach growls almost constantly but I hate eating. I do it now to stop the growling for a bit (it gets so bad it wakes me up/keeps me up at night) and to make sure I don't, ya know...starve to death. I can't eat nearly as much as I used to and it helps that I don't want to.
  6. Started at 264, now at 242, 4 weeks post-op. Not sure if that's good or not? P.S. First post, hi!
