  1. My advice is to relax Vonnie, I worried to the extent of not being able to sleep properly weeks before the procedure, I also said to my wife on the day of the operation while I was sitting there in my hospital gown "bugger this let's go home I will stick to a diet". It really was easy though & considering how awesome I feel & the overal results 3 months later I'd do it all again any day of the week!!
  2. I've been taking Nexium for 5yrs & I drink 2ltrs of water a day!
  3. I was sleeved 10th May 2012 & have been lucky enough to lose 30kg so far, I have a question for the longer term sleeves say 3 months sleeved & longer. My question is do you ever get hungry? I'm hungry all of the time infact I've felt hunger since day 1 of the procedure. The upside though is I still get full really easily, the other upside is that my weight loss has now slowed down to about a 1kg loss a fortnight. I only needed to lose 40kg preop so I figure being 10kg out with a very steady loss is a good thing. I now eat whatever I want just small amounts and I've also been on the grog a few times. Life's awesome!!
  4. Hi All - Is there anyone here from Brisbane that might be interested in meeting up sometime to share war stories?

  6. I use to be a member on the Australian gastric sleeve forum but unsubscribed my membership because there's so many bitchy wankers on there. I had my sleeve done on 10th May 2012 & have since lost 30kg, if your someone considering this op then I HIGHLY reccomend it.
  7. Yeh mate I'm an Aussie to, I live in Brisbane.
  8. Don't panic guys, I had my sleeve done on the 10th May 2012 & have lost 30kg, you best get use to these plateaus because they happen often! The longest plateau I had was 4weeks & it drove me insane! Stick with it because before you know it 1 morning you'll suddenly start seeing the weight move again. The 1 thing I notice that even though my weight doesn't move during those times my size however does so be guided buy your pants.
