  3. Hi Everyone, I am almost 1 yr 9 months out from Sleeve surgery and will be 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow. My hairloss stopped a long time ago from surgery but noticed that is has started up again. I am just curious if anyone else has noticed this while pregnant? and if it is has anything to do with the sleeve or if it is just common in pregnancy? This is my first so I am not sure of what is normal lol Thanks in advance everyone!
  4. Thank you! Will do.. I have my OB appointment on the 6th so hopefully they will do the scan so we can see the baby is where it needs to be and see/hear the heartbeat.. I will be 8 weeks and 2 days at that point.. so excited
  5. Thank you...congratulations to you too!
  6. I found out that I am pregnant! For myself my feeling of full and over stuffed feel different then the typical sleeve feeling. Instead of it feeling like it's in my chest it now feels like it sirs in the stomach. The nausea also feels a bit different I don't get the over salivating feeling now as I did when it was just me and my sleeve. Just thought I would post an update since there were no answers and others may wonder or experience the same thing. :-)
  7. I hope this isn't TMI but I do not need lube but I had heard of people using PreSeed to help conceive... We used it the last two times. I'm not sure if that helped or it was just our time but just thought I would share in case you are looking for a maybe boost :-)
  8. My husband and I were trying and our 3rd cycle we did it! I just found out 7/3 with a hpt that I am pregnant. Good luck to you guys! **Lots of baby dust to you**

  12. Hello, Since the sleeve I can no longer eat pasta, my sleeve does not like it. As for the pasta sauce I would just be careful because of the acidity. I know for me I get reflux every now and then depending on what I eat so I say you can test the waters and see how it is for you. It seems to be a hit or miss these days when introducing foods back into your life after surgery.
  13. Thank you!! In the beginning you will hit stalls here and there...but honestly I wish I would have worked out within the first six months when the weight was falling off more or less by it self. I didn't start hitting the gym until 6.5 months out and I have been working on it since. It takes dedication but I love it, I feel so much better after a work out..and all I do is normally an hour to an hour and a half of cardio on the elliptical ( any where from- days a week) and then 3 times a week I do strength training for my upper body and core a half an hour of this. I know I am going to need plastics done though but trying to tighten whatever I can. I will also say as much as many love to watch the scale I would say just pick one day a week to weigh in. As far as foods.. I have been a bad girl.. I need to start drinking my Protein again because I am not hitting my protein goals and I know if I do up it, my weight will probably start coming back off at a more steady pace. I do tend to eat a lot of chicken and eggs ( I do not eat fish or other meats ) but I have days where I eat high carbs which I know people say we shouldn't but I am still human and I am not going back into my old habits (which could be easy with some slider foods out there). I wish you the best of luck and I can not wait to see your amazing transformation!!!
  14. Just wanted to give an update: SW (July 2012): 303lbs Surgery Weight (11/8/12): 282lbs Current weight: 187lbs in 5 days I will be 10 months out Yesterday I retired my size 14 jeans now into a 12 I have come a long way from my size 26 for sure! This is from this weekend This was day of surgery 11/8/12
  15. Hello, I had a consult yesterday with a plastic surgeon in my area which went very well and the cost if great so it looks like I will stay in the states for this one instead of heading to Mexico. My question though is if I am having the lower body lift, he will also make incisions around the bra line for the rolls that hang over and he also will do butt injections. My thinking now is.. how the heck am I going to sit.. or lay.. anyone with experience please help! I still have a few months to go.. and I also want to ask him about some inner thigh work too! Thanks in advance!
  16. Please do not be so hard on yourself, you are only human! Just stay dedicated the next four days and you will be fine Are you on strictly liquids only? I know some people are allowed to have some type of Protein and salad and then the last 3 days are full Clear Liquids but everyone's doctors are different. Keep your head up you will do just fine, you were doing great and plus its not like you had 3 or 5 tacos Good luck with surgery!!! Can't wait for you to join me on the losers bench!!

  18. No, I was told be be on clear liquids 3 days before the surgery so no food. I think everyone's doctor and instructions are different though, you should probably check with them, they may just say nothing in your tummy after midnight
  19. I used to swear by execdrine and was going bonkers when it was pulled last year lol. Since surgery I've only had one bad migrane, other then that I've been migrane free and I used to get them at least once or twice a week, makes me think it was something in the foods I was eating. I hope yours go away also
  20. Unfortunately I can't remember but if you have someone rub and pat your back like trying to burp a baby it may help a little it had helped me out a bit. Hope ya feel better soon.
  21. I have used milk of magnesia it helped me out a few times.
  22. I was also selfpay, at a min I do 60 grams but normally at least 80. I actually double my protein drink in the morning and after.that the rest of my protein is from food. I am a little over 5 months out and I wouldn't be able to hit protein just by eating alone at least not without a million carbs added on lol.
