  1. Oh... well... just to TRY to get us to page 300 I'll tell you all something. I went shopping for new uniforms yesterday, and fit into a size XL scrub pants!! XL! OK. so they are tight, but I can get them all the way on and sit without the butt ripping out. They fit me like my 3X fit this time last year. Lol. Yep, I was wearing a 4X scrub pant last year (cause like I as saying, the 3X were tight.) Last year I was wearing a 4X scrub top. Most of them were getting rather tight... Now I'm comfortablly in a 3X top. I have 1 2X top I can wear, but otherwise I have to stick with the 3X. I'm just top heavy. I have no hips to speak of, so I've always been a size smaller on the bottom. Oh... and some of my size 24 jeans are a bit baggy... but I can't get into 22s yet. Clothes are fun and frustrating... but I'm still THRILLED that I'm just not in a size 32 pants anymore! Weeeeeeeeeeee!!! Did that get us to page 300 yet?
  2. We're still on 299...
  3. No worries Stef. I was so thirsty and was gulping OJ. I knew better. And I RARELY PB anything... It's been about a month as far as I can recall...
  4. How in the DOUBLE heck did I just PB on orange juice?? OMG. That was horrible.
  5. I used it quite exclusively for a while. I don't feel like theirs is any better than any other though.
  6. I voted no, mostly cause My inner thighs have saggging skin issues. Lol.
  7. Well hello neighbor!! I used the weightloss surgical center in OP KS. My insurence paid all but about $1000. They will file and fight with your insurance... if they still won't cover you there is financing available. Portal-to-Go Error Feel free to ask me any questions...
  8. I'll be at work... Lol. I hadn't thought about it at all really. I suppose I'll do pics, to prove to myself that everything I've been through has been worth it. Haha.
  9. Yeah... no one has 'updated' the first post in AGES... Oh well... We all know where we stand!! I said I was changing my goal, since I was on a plateau... but I'll go ahead and just shoot for the 243. I won't make it, but we'll see how far I make it! Suzzzie ........... 297 .... 243 ...... 279 ......................... 36
  10. Lol. thats a cute vid! J - LOVE the fi re cake. Hahah!
  11. Lol. Scales suck. I got down to 279 once... and been back up to 280/281 since then. Which still pus me at 100/101 lost... so I'll take it.
  12. Missy - COngrats!!! Thats so awesome!!
  13. How'd you know about the penguin hat? Lol... did I write about that? Oh... did I send you a pic? Lol. I'm a nerd. Oh yes. Before pics. Those weren't cutting it this morning. Haha. I still felt huge and bloated, so I actually put on my size 32 jeans I was wearing last year, Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God they fell right off of me!! Lol. I'm proudly wearing size 24. I'd really really LOVE to be a size 22 by my surgery annivesary in June. I should work on that... But I'm waiting for *someone* to kick me in the arse with a workout schedule. Haha. Until then I'm sitting on my butt whining,
  14. I need a few minutes to whine... and no one understands me like ya'll do. So, TMI or not... when I'm on my period my band gets tighter. And today we had a huge dinner for my Gramps' 83rd birthday. I ate a few bites of a veggie cassarole I made and then a few bites of mashed potatoes. It took me just as long to eat that as it did for most of my family to eat entire plates full of meat loaf and salad and whatever else there was. I kept looking at their plates and wanted to cry. People take huge bites of things like dinner rolls and salad, and I can't eat these things at ALL. If you remember, NO one in my family knows about my band. I'm always paranoid that people will try to push me to eat more... we're all 'feeders', but no one has really said anything to me today. A few people who did see my plate were like, "is that all you're eating?" I mostly stood in a corner to eat, so most people couldn't see what I was or wasn't eating. And the whole period thing... it's basically new to me. This is 3 months in a row now. That has NEVER happened to me before. I got my first one when I was 12, and then I think a few months later I had another... I'd read that in the begining a young girl may not have a regular cycle for a year or more, so I never thought anything about it. After a few years, I did some more research and just kinda figured that the absence of a menstral cycle was a blessing. Lol. Ok, seriously, I just attributed it to my weight. I've been over 300 pounds since I was about 16 years old. In my early 20s I learned about PCOS, and figured that is what the problem was. I still wasn't upset about it. The few times I'd had a period I hated it. And now that it's been here for 3 months in a row I'm really hating it. Even more weird though... I go about 5 weeks between cycles... so it's still not regulated. Losing 100 pounds has been great... don't get me wrong... but on days like today all I can see is how far I still have to go... the wrinkling and sagging skin I have on my arms, thighs, belly, and flat droopy boobs... and having to bleed every month is certainly no reward. Woe is me...
  15. OMG Stef. That pic is funny... will I go to Hell for laughing at it?!?
  16. Hang in there Stef. You can do it!!
  17. Stef, I lectured you over on the June thread. I still love you though!!!
  18. I KNEW there was a reason (other than weather) that Stef was avoiding these threads!!! Bad bad Stef! Of course, you know that you would have gotten the 'go to your doc' lectures (the same one that you were giving ME when I had indigestion for a week!). You're so bad. I am glad you got to the NP though. Glad you got your unfill. Sorry that you have to go through it all though. And you are so brave for considering not getting a fill again!! Every now and then I think about getting an unfil or something and the first thing I think I"d do without this restriction is go out to all my fave places and eat large plates of food. I have no will power. Food tastes too good to me. BUT I think that YOU could do it. And even if you can't do it 100% on your own, no shame. You can always go back and fill that band up again!! HUGS!
  19. Well look at you hot mama!! You look so great!!
  20. Yes. everyone should post pics of their pets. I have these two cats, and then I have my dog, which lives with my mom. One of these days I'll own a hosue with a yard and will have dogs that I can keep. Lol.
  21. Go here to vote for my kitties... i made them lolcats: I haz a seekrit by Suzzzie Serioulsy, go vote.

  24. Yes Janine! My band talks back to me too. Lol. It seems to always happen when I'm around people who do NOT know about my band!! Lol. It is loud and weird... there is no predicting it, or stopping it. Haha. I just laugh it off...
  25. Oh Beckie! Thats awful. From the moment I read about the trouble breathing I was sure she had a clot in her lung too. So sad. Thats also how my Grandma died a few years back, about 3 weeks after having a hip replacement. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
