  1. I'd you have any unflavored protein powder. I purchased some so I can incorporate it in soups my jello and puddings etc.
  2. My visit was an hour long and meeting with my Nut was an hour long as well, then there was an hour long NUT class. Then during all of my office visit I met with them. I love the program I picked.
  3. I think because I'm on clear liquids until my first post-op visit is why I have it. Oh I pray I can move to full liquids. Yogurt can save me lol!
  4. I think I'm part camel, I've had no issue getting water in, it's when I flavor it that I don't drink. I manage to drink close to 64 oz a day. I sip every 15 mins.
  5. I looked up on line suggestion for home remedy treatments, cider vinaigrette rinse, lemon juice rinse, baking soda rinse. I've opted to wait it out until I can eat yogurt and get the healthy bacteria going again.
  6. Having had surgery 7/22/13, this thread has been VERY insightful as well as helpful. Thank you all for your postings, it's valuable information for my new eating lifestyle.
  7. I have thrush and it the pits, my breath is so rank and my tongue is starting to hurt. I hope to get some yogurt in my system to have it help put the balance of good bacteria back in the old body.
  8. I have to say I find it interesting that I can get my fluids in. I sip like crazy. I just use a regular 8oz glass it takes about an hour to empty. The sip bottle got on my nerves plus the top smelled after a while, I scrub it all the time. I hope I get to start my proteins Wednesday.
  9. Lol I am. I'll be great by Wednesday. I'd like a yogurt, this thrush on my tongue is becoming painful. Need to get the proteins back in. Granted saltines are anywhere near protein lol.
  10. Glad to hear they were swift to find what was wrong and fix it quickly.
  11. The pain does get better. perhaps you could call your pharmacy to discuss the reaction you are having. The paper you received with your meds should have mentioned the side affects. Itching sounds like its one. The pharmacists could suggest an alternative medication. I so hope you feel better.
