Hi - I am from Long Island. I was a thin girl and teen - had some weight fluctuation in my 20's but for the most part stayed thin. After my second child I was skinnier and happier than ever. By my 4th child, I was already overweight - then gained a bunch and never lost any. Fast forward 1000 diets later and now a whopping 150lbs overweight!

I had the lapband in 2007. I immediately lost 40lbs and then after a certain adjustment....everything I ate made me sick. I couldn't eat anything - I was miserable. I struggled with anxiety and just wanted the band out. They unfilled the band and I gained back about 25 lbs. Finally in 2010 I had it out. HAPPY But Fat! Now I have gained all my weight back.........

So here I am today.........18 days from surgery.....day 5 of my liquid diet......and scared out of my mind.

Wish I knew I was doing the right thing. I am afraid of failure.

Hope to be inspired.
