My surgery is Monday I've been waiting since June I can't believe it 2 days away every now and then I start freakin but I know it the right thing to do I have good support but doesn't everyone second guess surgery I'm a nurse and work in a Cath lab every day I assure people it will all be fine need to take some of my own advice
  4. I not sleeved yet but costco makes the best chicken salad I served it at parties it delicious think you can have this later on

  9. My doc has purred day 3 protein only for 9 weeks no veggies till then then no starches for 5 months
  10. my doc recommends ginger tea decaf of course or sucing on aginger candy
  11. Leave the glue alone it suppose to slough off you could reopen your wound

  13. 5 day done Pre op 5 pounds gone 11days to go feeling very nervous know Ill be uncomfortable a few days looking like it will be. Bad case of flu and I'll get better taking a long time off work really looking forward to that thanks for posting peeps help me know I'm doing the right thing E

My has me on 2 weeks if it's just for weight loss low carb would probably due the same my Dr is very strict also protein only for 9 weeks post op the nurse in me questions this mineral loss increase risk kidney stones tried to research theries not able to find a good one read earlier someone posting pushiment if one Dr can do it with 24 hour Pre without a high complication rate why would they put people on horrible shakes mine is also no milk products ok 8 Im venting but looking for the evidence based again nurse in me
  17. Hey August sleevers just a suggestion reading about dry mouth get some biotin comes in tooth paste mouthwash spray and gel it's for dry mouth symptoms works well can get a Walgreen ect

Lacie you look fabulous and what with the do it in 6 months who say you keep doing what your doing and in 1 year youll lost 10 more pounds if you feel good and are comfortable blow off the BMI chart remember those are goverment recommindations that should give you a clue congrats on your success
