  1. Just keep saying "I can do this, I can do this, I can do this!!" I am on day 12 of pre op diet (clear liquids with 3 protein shakes per day). I would say the 1st 1-5 days was the toughest but I feel as if this is a breeze now, especially the closer I get to surgery day. So far I have lost 13 lbs. My surgery is on Monday (9/10). Good luck to you and just remember you can do it. One thing that helped me was when I was having a really bad moment I would keep saying the scripture Romans 8:18 - Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later. And remember "This too shall pass"!
  2. Uh oh maybe this is not a good sign!! : (
  3. Hey All~ I am waiting on my Aetna approval. Does anyone know how long it takes?? My last appt with the Dr. was April 26th. I thought they had submitted everything that day but apparently it took the office a week to get all the paperwork together and Aetna said they recieved it on May 7th. Still haven't heard anything. Is this good or bad??? LOL. Just wondering how long other Aetna members had to wait. Stephanie
  4. How did you feel postop. Were you in a lot of pain? I am scared about the pain. And honestly do you ever feel hungry? That is one thing that always got me when I dieted was that nagging hunger feeling! I will hopefully be having my surgery in June. Waiting on insurance approval (going on 2 weeks now). So excited and a little scared! Any advice would be great! P.S. Congrats on your 12 lbs!!!!! : )
