We're leaving tomorrow for the west coast!! I'm not doing so good on the preop diet. Was supposed to lose 8 pounds and have lost 1 or 2. I am starving!! I think I'm getting hives!

By the way...if you go on the site for my Dr. www.obesitycontrolcenter.com there's 3 or 4 different 'elective surgery financing' links... all with online applications and they reply within a day or two.

I went through efinancing.com. I don't have outstanding credit. Try getting the loan without him. Your credit wouldn't have the bankruptcy already. That's all I know to do.

Wow, 22 pounds for you! Awesome! DO you know if there's wireless internet in the hotel or hospital down there? Any advice for travel in Tijuana? Thanks!

I haven't been banded yet but I have had laproscopic surgery and I think 2 weeks recovery is enough time to be able to walk down an aisle for a wedding! (my opinion) Make sure you bring someone along to help with your girls, tho! I agree with the girls on here about no girdle. It just seems like it would hurt you. At bridal stores they have those 2-piece formal dresses that are slimming. They are like a matching long skirt and top. Or get a loose dress and some support hose. Since you've already made up your mind - have fun!

First let me say Congratulations on your new life and best wishes on future success! I love the new name! I didn't read your divorce thread so I don't know everything he has done to you. From reading your email I can suggest a couple things if I may. Never go back to that house. Whether you are rightfully entitled to by 'law' or not, that to me is asking for trouble and borderline crossing the line. Same for the hotel. Stay away from these places. They will be trouble every single time even if your intentions are good. If you have to pick up your daughter wait on the street in your car. Second, the best thing you can do as a mother is not trash talk their father, and you don't so that's great. I know it's hard. (I have a hellish mother to my 2 stepdaughters. I hate her with a bitter passion.) Just love those kids and never put them in the middle. Support them and be there for them. They will love you for it when they are grown enough to understand that this divorce isn't their fault. You'll make it through. Just keep your head up and don't let your ex get you down.

Hey Flip. I recommend going to this website for Dr. Ortiz in Mexico. www.obesitycontrolcenter.com . HOWEVER, I haven't had my surgery yet. I will go Next Friday!! YAYAYA! Others who have gone to him and the testimonials on the website are amazing! I was a self pay and they are $8,500 with no hidden costs which is about half or a fourth of what you will pay in the U.S. I checked a local hospital in NJ and the hospitalization alone was $13,000, thats not including the Surgeon or the anisthesiologist (sp). I am excited cuz hubby wants to go so we are flying in to San Diego and the escort is picking us up and driving us to Mexico. There is a message board on that site also. GO check it out.
