Struggling in Birch Bay, WA
Thanks for asking. I went to see my surgeon on Monday and found out I had zero restriction. I was very surprised and asked him to fill me up. I guess I was emptied about a year ago when I was having some issues and the bellingham clinic just took out all of my fluid. good news is that even though I didn't lose for a year I maintained. Its like my journey is just starting again!

Struggling in Birch Bay, WA
I have been banded for two years now and have hit a plateau. I was going to the gym, seeing a personal trainor and working out hard 5 days a week. An injury forced me to stop and now I am siting around and eating all the time. I gained ten pounds and am very discouraged. If there is someone around the area that wants to buddy up so I can get back on track, I would greatly appreciate it.

Having Serious Regrets.....Anyone Else?
I got my band on the 27th of March. I have lost only 35lbs. I am quite restricted and spend a lot of time losing my meals. I am happy that I have lost weight, but like you I lost most in the first month when I could not eat or drink anything. I had complications and was swollen shut for two weeks. I can't say I regret my decision, but there are days when I am sad for the loss of the ability to eat. I find I drink too many calories and that's probably why I am not losing.

MaRcHiEs IN MaY
Hi , I usually eat Lean Cusine for lunch, mind you only some are band freindly and I am finding out the hard way which ones aren't. For dinner, I cook a piece of fish. Weekends are harder cause I want to snack all day. I am not having as much sucess as you all. I am getting a fill on Wednesday the 30th of May. Hopefully it will stop the hunger. Banded 03-27-07

Post Surgery Blues anyone?
Hi, I got banded in March and the first two weeks, I had major complications due to swelling. I couldn't eat or drink or even swallow my spit. Luckily, NWWLSC had a protocol to follow and I was able to get the help and medical assistance I required. I have lost around 25# to date, but am experiancing the blues and can't seem to shake them. Is this yet another complication? If so, does it pass soon?

Losing Weight Fast
Hello everyone, I was banded on the 27th of March at NWWSC by Dr. Michaelson and am down 20 lbs as of yesterday. My first two weeks were rough but I have come through it okay. Now starting to eat about 2 ounces of food 3 times a day.
