  14. Thanks for all the kind words. I know I'm doing this for myself, but it would be nice to have a "pat on the back" every once in awhile from my friends and family. I tried talking to my Mom about it and her response was..."that's because that's how fat you use to be and still are." I didn't need to hear that. I'll just keep on doing my hard work and continue to lose the weight for that is what it's all about. Thanks again for being here and responding to me. At least I have you.
  15. I don't know? It makes me feel like crap. I feel worse now than I did 73 pounds more ago. I don't know what to do!?!?
  16. I'm so upset, frusterated, discouraged, and PISSED. I have lost 73 pounds in 6 months. From 281 pounds to 208 pounds. From a size 26 to a size 18. Not one person has commented on my weightloss. REALLY? This sucks!!!!
  17. Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. I'm just so frusterated and discouraged. I'm sure this phase shall pass, too. I do really appreciate your comments. Thanks!
  18. I'm down 40 pounds (from 280 to 240) since February 7 and nobody can tell. I'm only down one pant size, too! I'm just so frusterated! I thought 40 pounds would have made a difference, but I was wrong. Very discouraged.

  20. Thanks everyone!!! I think the surgery made my brain dull! Obviously, I'm not clearly thinking properly. Hopefully I didn't ruin anything and I'm definately NOT going to do that again. Just a moment of weakness.

  22. Thank you Punkypoo for your comment, I needed that! I think 10 days of preop liquid diet and 5 days of postop liquid diet is just really getting to me. I have come to realize that I am a food addict and it's going to be so hard to adjust to a new way of eating. I love food and miss it so much! I will get back on track ASAP! Thank you again!
  23. I don't think that it's head hunger, but I don't know for sure. If my stomach couldn't handle it, wouldn't I have felt something? Been in pain, or any sort of feeling?
  24. I'm 5 days after my surgery and I feel normal. I'm not sore and I'm still very hungry. How could this be? I feel like the surgery didn't even work for me. Granted I would rather have this problem than and complications or problems, but it doesn't seem right. I don't have any problems drinking water, milk, juice, or anything. I finally couldn't stand it today and even tried eating "real" foods, instead of full liquids. I had four pieces of marble cheddar cheese, 2 saltine crackers, and 1/3 cup of popcorn all in one sitting and feel fine. Still hungry! Anybody else ever felt this way? This can't be right......

  26. Had my surgery Feb. 7 and got home Feb. 9. I'm feeling pretty good overall. A litlle sore and tired. I actually have an appetite today, I wasn't expecting that. Liquids hurt a little going down. I lost 12 pounds on my 10 day liquid diet. Only 98 pounds more to go! Good luck to the rest of you February Sleevers!
  27. Thank you all so much! I really appreciate all of your comments. I hope the feelings I have change before my surgery on Tuesday. I'm glad there are people out here for me to "vent" to. Thanks again!
  28. I'm scheduled for February 7, and I am definately NOT ready! I hope this feeling changes.
  29. My surgery is set for February 7 and I am so close to cancelling. This 10 day liquid diet I have been on is so difficult, that I don't know if I will be able to last after my surgery. I am just miserable. I definately realized that I am a food addict. I love food. I love going out to dinner. I love cooking for my family and sitting down and eating with them. Maybe I am not ready! I went thru 7 months of appointsments to prepare me, but it took 2 months after I was done with my 7 months to get approved and scheduled for my surgery. In the 2 months I feel like I lost my momentum. I went on two All-Inclusive vacations plus Christmas time.during that time. I really don't know if I am ready for surgery, or if I will ever be ready. Is it possible that I could not even loose any weight at all after surgery. I haven't lost any weight on the liquid diet yet and I haven't even cheated. Any advice out there? I don't know what to do!
  30. I am on day 5 of a 10 day pre-op liquid diet and I have not loss one pound! From what I have heard, most people on average loose 10 pounds during their pre-op diet. I feel like I am starving and I am so upset and frusterated! I can't believe I haven't shed a pound!
